My Yogic Adventure has designed a perfect retreat for anyone who is yearning to explore consciousness, and to reconnect with the truly nature. In a secluded organic farm in the south of Turkey, disconnect from the day-to-day world, and align with the wise cycles of nature. You will practice yoga, and meditation surrounded by aromatic eucalyptus, and majestic pine trees. You will also venture on some of the local hiking routes to enjoy breathtaking views, and the plethora of wild flowers. Take the chance to discover the fascinating history of the Turkish region by wandering around monumental archaeological ruins, and learn about the principles of eco-farming in a community, which has been doing it for almost 20 years. Welcome spring inside you by embracing natures energy.
All the eco-farm buildings are ecologically designed, constructed of stone, wood or mud-brick. Each house has two rooms, a bathroom, and a spacious front porch.
Built from hand-made mud-brick, tile, and wood these single-store houses have two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, a living room, and a wide verandah. In the summer both the stone and mud-brick houses remain cool, in the winter they are heated with wood-burning cooking stoves.
Built in a traditional style using natural materials, the ground floor has one bedroom, the upper floors have two bedrooms, and they can be used as two separate apartments. Each floor has a bathroom, a kitchen, and a wide terrace.
These houses have been built close to the Kargi river, where it forms one of Pastoral Vadis boundaries, and are located in the midst of shade-giving trees. There are one, and two bedroom wooden houses. Each house also has a bathroom, and a small kitchen in one corner of the verandah.
Your mornings will start with a guided meditation practice, followed by a yoga class, and a delicious freshly prepared breakfast. After the breakfast, you can enjoy free time until lunch. Pastoral Vadi farms offers plenty of opportunities for exploration, and learning. Depending on your interests, you can join to any of the daily activities on the eco-farm or simply relax, and enjoy the peacefulness of the Turkish nature.
In the afternoons, there will be different activities. On the third, and fifth day of the retreat you can take an afternoon workshop where you can explore a deeper yoga practice. The rest of the afternoons will be spent on exploring natural scenarios, hike to the surroundings, and visit one Turkish archaeological site. You will finish your retreat days the same way you started them, with yoga and meditation practices.
During this retreat you will explore local mountain paths, hike to the nearby beach, and visit archaeological sites located in the vicinity.
Pastoral Vadi is an organic farm located in Yaniklar Village near Fethiye town. Surrounded by pine forest, with a river as one of its boundaries Pastoral Vadi occupies 42,000 square meters of land in the middle of a valley. It is a secluded estate, tucked in among eucalyptus, pine, and pomegranate trees. If you have never stayed on a farm before, you will be introduced to the soil, the agricultural methods, and the crops (a timeless cycle). When you escape from the concrete environment of towns, and cities, and the high-speed lifestyle found there, you will feel relaxed as you encounter nostalgic aspects of a slower pace of life; you will also be refreshed, feel younger, and more energetic.
