From the moment you arrive on retreat, your body begins to exhale. Shoulders drop, your breath deepens, and the busyness of life starts to fade. “It’s time to rest, reset, and let go.” This bespoke retreat experience inspires you to reconnect, reset and recharge your physical and emotional wellbeing. Expect to reconnect with nature, rest from the busyness of your modern lives and recharge your physical and emotional wellbeing with their signature stress, energy and wellbeing reset rituals. These will leave you energized and inspired with practical tools to continue the energy, mood and wellbeing boosting benefits in your daily life and will create space for you to feel lighter, calmer, and claim back your energy for life.
Accommodation at St. Marks is luxurious ensuite twin-bedded or double rooms with towels and toiletries provided and stunning views of the Howgill Fells. The separate yoga/activity space has wooden floors, high ceilings, and lots of natural light flooding in, making it the perfect place to expand on or kick-start your yoga and wellbeing practices.
The house has everything required for a restful and cosy stay away from home, very well equipped kitchen, large dining room with log burner group table for meal times and wellbeing workshops, large lounge area with log burner, TV and cozy sofas, smaller reading lounge with log burner, comfy sofa and chairs to get lost in a book or enjoy some quiet time. Outside there is the firepit with seating, various outdoor seating looking out toward the rolling countryside.

These are 3 days to reset and boost your energy, mood and wellbeing.
This will consist of mindful movement, Yin, Yang yoga, meditation, countryside walks, evenings by the firepit, wellbeing workshops to boost your skin, sleep, immune and digestive system throughout the seasons, feel good meditation, mindful movement and yoga outside in the elements to reset and restore your wellbeing.
Your accommodation, meals, snacks, drinks, yoga and wellbeing workshops will all be provided and you will leave with a toolkit of yoga, movement and wellbeing practices to support you throughout the seasons.
You will explore and practice ways to transition into the current season and beyond feeling physically and emotionally balanced, re-energized and restored.
Debbie from My Holistic Bliss has hosted 100's of retreats over the last decade and will guide you through meditation, yoga and movement workshops throughout the weekend, including Five Element Yin yoga, pranayama (breath control), yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), mobility, meditation and self care workshops. Debbie is an experienced yoga and movement coach, and a traditional Chinese acupuncturist with a particular interest in women's wellbeing, stress and energy boosting wellbeing.
The yoga and movement style will be a combination of Yin, mobility, Yang yoga and Qigong mindful movement. All levels are welcome to join whether you have practiced yoga before or not, and she will ensure you're working at the appropriate level / intensity.
Enjoy walks around the beautiful Yorkshire Dales to connect with nature or you can just relax by the open fires in the house and watch the world go by.

Each Reset retreat is themed around the current season with specific practices that support your body, mind and soul at that particular time of year, plus the all year round nourishing practices. The intention is to give you practical tools you can easily make part of your everyday lifestyle to stay well and feel good.

Debbie has been working in the health and wellbeing industry for 16 years. In 2011 she opened up her private fitness and yoga studio to help bridge the gap between community and corporate health and fitness facilities, giving people the option to exercise or practice in a more personal and results-focused environment. She has always had a love for practicing both Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga and started her teaching journey with The British Wheel of Yoga doing the foundation course, then completed 200hr teacher training in Rishikesh, India, and more recently the 50hr Yin yoga teacher training.
Located side by side to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, St. Marks is a character-filled house in the stunning landscape of Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside and nature, providing an inspiring and relaxing place for people to nourish themselves spiritually, physically, and emotionally while connecting with the beautiful North Yorkshire Dales.

The food will be fresh, home cooked, and wherever possible, organic plant-based and vegetarian food. Throughout the weekend, you will be eating carefully planned homemade nutritious meals, snacks, juices, and smoothies to help support your yoga and wellbeing practice, also giving ideas for recipes to try when back home.
All meals on retreat are vegetarian with gluten-free options too. If you have a specific dietary requirement, please specify this when booking your place and My Holistic Bliss will ensure everyone is catered for appropriately.
If you do feel the need for additional treats, you can bring along your own items, however you will be very well fed during your stay. If you would like to have an alcoholic drink to enjoy with evening meals, that’s fine but you will need to bring your own and of course drink responsibly to ensure you get the most out of the weekend.
