Spa treatments

Back and shoulder massage

Relieve stiffness from your back and shoulder with this reviving upper body massage. Finish with a face and scalp massage for complete relaxation.

Cupping massage

A unique and effective healing massage that combines ancient Chinese natural healing and Western touch. Begin with a relaxing aromatic massage to warm and relax tired muscles, followed by fire cupping along the meridian lines to help draw out toxins and stimulate a free flow of energy within your body. It is normal to have red to purple marks on the back after a cupping treatment. The darker the mark is, the more toxins it has released from the body.

Cupping therapy

Originating from ancient Egypt and China, cupping therapy is a natural therapy that’s been used for centuries to stimulate and activate the body’s own natural self-healing power. Glass cups are first heated with a flame and then immediately placed on the back. The warm air inside the heated cups creates suction on the muscles. This allows blood vessels to expand and redden.

In Traditional Chinese medicine, cupping therapy is believed to help relieve muscle tension, as well as to improve blood circulation and help with respiratory symptoms. Our therapist will start with a warming oil back massage to release any tension and relax the body, and then apply the cups on your back for about ten to fifteen minutes. It is normal to have red to purple marks on the back after a cupping treatment. The darker the mark is, the more toxins it has released from the body.

Detoxifying green clay wrap

Begin pampering your skin with Museflower's gentle and cleansing Himalayan crystal pink salt exfoliation, then allow your body to detoxify with the application of green clay to draw out impurities. Finish with an application of body moisturizer scented with the signature blend. An excellent treatment for stimulating and firming the skin. Suitable for normal and oily skin.

Dried mangosteen peel body scrub

Mangosteen, known as the “Queen of the Tropical Fruits”, contains a high amount of anti-oxidants to help repair and prevent further damage to skin cells. This natural Thai spa treatment uses dried mangosteen peel powder mixed with honey for a gentle body exfoliation, followed by a kefir (fermented milk) splash for softening the skin. Finish with an application of body moisturizer scented with Museflower's signature blend.

Foot acupressure

One of the most popular Thai spa treatments, foot massage kneads the reflex points on the feet that correspond to every organ and gland in the body. Begin with a foot soak and a shoulder massage to release tension, then enjoy the gentle healing of foot massage stimulation of the autonomic nervous, lymphatic, and circulation systems. Ideal to improve circulation and help tired feet to recuperate.

Herbal steam room

Museflower Spa provides one big and one small herbal steam room, so couples and families can book to use a steam room together. Thai herbs, such as lemongrass and plai are used in the steam for stimulating circulation and aiding the detoxification process. Guests are advised to change into sarongs (provided in the changing room) in order to use the steam room.

Himalayan black salt body scrub

Kala Namak, or Himalayan black salt has been used in Ayurvedic medicine as a cooling spice to aid digestion. Rich in iron and minerals this salt contains a distinct sulphur flavor. Tamarind paste, fresh ginger, and coconut oil are mixed with black salt to create a rich body scrub, which helps to stimulate blood circulation and maintain a healthy pH balance for the skin. Finish with an application of body moisturizer scented with our signature blend. Suitable for normal and oily skin.

Himalayan crystal pink salt body peel

Ideal for detoxifying, Himalayan crystal pink salt and oil are applied on the whole body. Then the therapist will wrap and cover your body, allowing the Himalayan crystal pink salt’s rich 84 minerals to recharge your body cells and restore skin moisture, and leave you with a feeling relaxed, fresh, and light. Suitable for all skin types except sensitive skin.

Himalayan crystal pink salt body scrub

Enriched with about 84 essential minerals, this ionic salt is the result of the accumulation of the substances on rock salt over a million years. Our Himalayan pink salt body scrub is infused with rose essential oil and honey, improving skin texture and hydrating while calming the mind. Finish with an application of body moisturizer scented with our signature blend. Suitable for normal skin and dry skin.

Himalayan crystal pink salt body scrubssage

An innovative experience that combines a body scrub and massage.

In this scrubssage (scrub and massage) treatment, the therapist will first massage the body with the signature blend massage oil. Himalayan crystal pink salt is then sprinkled and massaged onto the oil like in a body scrub.

After the scrub, warm water is applied again on the same area to allow the salt to melt. Herbal steam is recommended after the treatment, to allow the body to further detoxify through sweat while opening the skin’s pores to absorb the rejuvenating effects of the fresh herbal steam that stimulates your circulation and activates your metabolism. Suitable for all skin types except sensitive skin.

Indian head massage

Inspired by the traditional Champissage from India, this treatment combines both gentle and stimulating techniques on the upper back, shoulders, neck, and scalp to improve blood flow and relieve stress. Coconut oil is used to nourish the hair and scalp.

Star massage

Tailor-make your own treatment by telling us what you need and how you want it. Begin with a spa consultation to let us know what pressure you prefer, what area you would like to concentrate on, and select your own aromatherapy oil that best caters to your need. Therapists will use natural Thai spa techniques along with their instinct to tune into your body and energy, and incorporate their own unique style in this signature massage treatment.

Thai herbal massage

Combining traditional Thai massage with the use of freshly made Thai heated herbal compresses, this natural Thai spa treatment helps to improve blood circulation, ease aches and re-energize the whole being. This treatment is offered without oil.

Thai massage

Thailand’s best-known spa treatment, Thai massage uses pressure points and gentle body stretching to re-awaken the body’s energy flow by stimulating the meridians (energy channels). This treatment is practiced fully-clothed and without oil.

The journey of autumn

A cleansing pampering body and facial treatment to detox and de-stress the skin and face. Begin with a detoxifying and regenerating Himalayan pink salt body peel to polish your skin. Himalayan salt’s 84 minerals will be absorbed and activate your cells.

During the body peel, enjoy a facial massage with a relaxing warm salt compress to stimulate circulation. Finish with a long soothing star massage to completely let go of all your stress.

The journey of spring

Put a new spring in your step with this rejuvenating foot treatment.

Start with a Himalayan pink salt foot scrub mixed with locally grown green tea leaves to sooth aching feet. Follow with a green clay foot mask to gently draw out toxins from the body.

Then, the spa's refreshing foot massage eases tense muscles and the final touch is a warm Thai fresh herbal compress to soothe and restore new energy to tired feet.

The journey of summer

This pampering treat for the skin and hair will restore a healthy, smooth shine to both your body and hair. First, scrub away your dull dead skin cells with the spa's energizing Himalayan Pink Salt Scrubssage (an uplifting combo of scrub and massage), then deeply nourish your hair with our coconut oil hair mask and a short scalp massage. Afterwards, a relaxing and detoxifying fresh herbal steam will let your hair and skin absorb the healing nutrients from Museflower's natural and organic spa products.

The journey of winter

This moisturizing body and facial massage is relaxing and beautifying. Inhale the calming aroma of coconut oil with a warm herbal massage, where the herbs are lightly fried and coated with coconut oil.
