The center is easily accessible, in a very peaceful environment at the doorstep of exquisite landscapes. The mixture of sceneries makes it very unique, from rivers, lakes, forests, valleys to vineyards, empower yourself in the wide-open spaces. It is the perfect spot for nature lovers to heal and vitalize their senses. Onsite, you will find all the amenities from accommodation to food and the yoga hall.

About the rooms:

  • You can either choose a Private, Twin or Triple Room
  • Shared rooms are mixed gender, to share with a friend joining the course or someone from the group
  • Bathrooms are either ensuite or shared with the next room (according to availability at the time of booking)
  • Most rooms are equipped with 3 to 6 single beds (or bunk beds) although due to the duration of the course and for everyone’s comfort, Mukta Tantra Yoga prefers to limit to 3 people per room maximum
  • Please note that there are no dedicated Private rooms as all the rooms are designed for sharing, but if you wish to be alone in a room, please select Private Room.

What is Mukta Tantra Yoga?

Mukta Tantra Yoga is the inner yoga of ancient India, the yoga of awareness and presence. The secret of absolute freedom. Mukta Tantra Yoga is not Hatha yoga or Neo Western Tantra or Western Kundalini yoga. Historically, it is the only philosophy in the world that is not male chauvinistic and does not discriminate between any nationality, class, color, gender, sexuality, and religion. It has evolved very differently in a non-dualistic environment and passed orally from generation to generation in a practical way.

It is inspired by traditional Kundalini Tantra yoga and Kashmir Shaivism (also called Himalayan Tantra, Agama, Trika, etc.) and from Mukta’s father and various mystics, as well as Mukta’s life experiences. Mukta Tantra Yoga is a golden secret key to absolute freedom. It is the essence of all Asiatic mysticism.

Traditional Tantra reflects the experience of Asiatic mystics who have expressed their true freedom. It can become just an inspiration to taste your own freedom. Therefore, this type of yoga cannot be found through self-claimed scholars or theirs books and it is not a commodity that you can buy.

It is a heart-to-heart connection and a direct perspective of a free mind. Following Tantra is not a goal, rather understanding oneself is being Tantric. This is not a spiritual romantic escape or an academic trap to get lost in translations but a key to dissolve self-inflicted sorrow and to celebrate your uniqueness beyond all comparisons.

A healthy doubting, skeptical, and critical mind is a free mind because it does not want to follow or obey blindly the rules given by societies and so-called leaders. An obedient mind is a mechanical mind that can easily be exploited to serve the old establishments which only feed on fear and greed. True spirituality is not conforming to any pattern given by others or oneself, rather getting rid of all patterns (spiritually or worldly) is true spirituality. Spirituality is not an escape from the world and its turmoil rather becoming intelligent to deal with it, like a lotus flower that blooms in the mud.

But any effort to fit into any selfish society is the surest way to get lost. Only a true dropout or misfit can see beyond the dust of so-called taboos. Being yourself as you are in the key and not trying to fit the expectations of the other. Dropouts are the update of your society and are misunderstood by the common masses. Mukta Tantra Yoga is not used to gain or achieve freedom in the future; rather expresses the freedom you already have.

Mukta Tantra Yoga is all about the presence and direct perception here and now. Instead of following Mukta Tantra Yoga, you can use it to sustain yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally in daily life. The inner order is born out of your real nature and naturally creates the outer order.

Mukta Tantra Yoga encourages others to see directly in their own light beyond all dependency on systems, cultures, traditions, organized religions, bookish knowledge, and self-claimed gurus. Systems and traditions are there to be used and not to get used or obsessed by them. They are the shadows of truth which modern scholars are trying to catch. They are the truth, just start expressing it with no excuses to seek it.

‘Mukta‘ means ‘free’ or liberated. ‘Tantra‘ is a science to crack the code of your true nature (pure consciousness, bliss, or freedom) which is eternal and always free from body, mind, and feelings. There is no goal to achieve rather experiencing the true bliss of life which is already there.

The practice

Mukta Tantra yoga is not only about learning physical asanas and their alignment. Rather it is all about one’s presence and awareness at the moment, it does not matter what you are doing. Awareness is true alignment and is not based on following any system, guru, or searching for something in the future, rather opening up all the senses to manifest life as it comes at the moment beyond all self-limitations. It includes all aspects of life in order to meet the challenges of daily hectic life.

Mukta Tantra Yoga is authentically using traditional Kundalini Tantra yoga of Tantric asanas, Kundalini, chakras, mantras, Tantric meditations, Tantric breath, bandhas, prana, dance, massage, self-inquiry, sounds, vibrations, light, prana, elements, energies, soma, and recognition to remain present at the moment and reflect your true nature without the interference of a conditioned mind.

You are using your body, mind, and senses to express your true freedom (or pure consciousness) and to unlock the bliss of life, which is also called Kundalini Shakti in Tantra.

To understand and free these energies, you use practical philosophy inspired by traditional Kundalini Tantra Yoga and Kashmir Shaivism (also knowns as Himalayan Tantra, Agama, Trika, etc.) and from Mukta’s father and various mystics, as well as his life experiences. Mukta Tantra Yoga embodies the essence of different yoga types such as Trika Yoga, Shiva Yoga, Shakti Yoga, Quantum Yoga, Prana Yoga, Tantric Yin Yoga, Yin Yang Yoga, Uchhara Yoga, Tattva Yoga, Soma Yoga, consciousness Yoga.

How does it work?

The retreat starts with a welcoming ceremony in the afternoon of the starting date. Classes will start on the following morning. They provide practical notes throughout the course but not a manual because notes are tailored according to the need and intelligence of their students. They need to update these notes from time to time to keep to the level of their students. Course are all given in English.

Basic English is fine to learn because it is all practical knowledge. It is all about your openness to receive through your heart and language can not be a barrier. You will check in on the starting day and check out on the following morning after the end of the retreat. You will have one and a half-day off per week. Before the start, they will send you an email with important information about the course and instructions. Please note you must bring your own yoga mat.
