At Mudra, they are proud to offer the yogis the possibility to enjoy their practice in different locations; classes will be taught in outdoor yoga decks in the jungle and in other unique locations: the magical Mayan cenotes. These are places sacred to the Maya and where the yoga practice will allow yogis to connect with mother nature whilst their experience will be enhanced by the surrounding natural elements and by the sounds of ancestral instruments. The outcome of the practice is a feeling of being invigorated and connected with the place and the local people in a more intimate way.
As this is primarily a yoga retreat, you will be enjoying your daily classes with an experienced teacher. Furthermore, this retreat will give you the unique opportunity to attend two classes in a special location, the class will in fact be taught in the spectacular sacred Cenotes of the Riviera Maya.
Two yoga classes in the magical cenotes and connecting with mother earth during your practice are included.
This tour will include the transfer to a Mexican Hacienda. This site has a beautiful cenote, a sinkhole filled with turquoise water where our yoga class will take place, a mesmerizing setting where you will be surrounded by the unique beauty of these caverns filled with stalactites and stalagmites. After the class, you will have lunch and to follow, the visit to the colonial city of Valladolid. The city was founded in the 16th century by the Spanish and it is a hidden gem located in the Yucatan jungle, off the beaten tourist path and it offers a unique opportunity to discover authentic Mayan culture and history.
Daniela was born in Bogota, Colombia. After moving to Mexico, she finally reached yoga. She continues her yoga studies with Karunamayi Dasi in 2010 and with Leonardo Estrada Mendez in 2011. In 2016, she became an Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Hatha yoga teacher within the Mexican Foundation of Universal Yoga in Mexico City. Finally, she moved to Tulum, Quintana Roo to be a yoga master and running the Alraun Dance Company.
Audra discovered yoga in 1999 in a small studio in Madison Wisconsin USA and immediately fell in love with yoga. In 2002, she moved to Mexico City to study dance and get a master’s degree in Ecological Restoration in the National Autonomous University of Mexico.After 10 years of consistent practice of yoga and dance, she decided to get study a Yoga Teacher Training in ashtanga vinyasa yoga.In 2014, Audra moved to Tulum, took another 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance.She has taught over 7000 hours of classes and is finishing a 300 hour course on biomechanics and yoga with Jules Michell.

Here you will explore the amazing sea life, schools of fish, huge groupers, barracudas, sting and eagle rays, occasional nurse shark, sponge, corals, and turtles.
A cenote is a natural cave formed hundreds of thousands of years ago and subsequently flooded due to rising sea levels. You dive into these special places, to discover the awesome world, hidden underwater. Mudra Retreats have dozens and dozens of different cenotes, suitable for beginners and advanced divers.
This is a real dive with the instructor. It is the first step to discover the underwater world! It will be conducted in shallow water in an awesome place called "Casa cenote" with plenty of fish, surrounded by an awesome mangrove forest. You will experience the emotion of breathing underwater with all the scuba equipment. This will be not a course, but a simple experience for everybody, young and adult.
In this tour, you will explore the underwater world of the Riviera Maya, the stunning beaches, the enchanting jungle, the mesmerizing nature with its sacred ‘cenotes’ and all the beautiful living creatures, like turtles and tropical fish.
This tour will give you the opportunity to learn about Mayan life and its rituals. You will experience the temezcal: a volcanic steam bath aiming to cleanse and renew your body and mind.
Visiting the Biosphere of Sian Ka’an on a small boat through the mangrove routes, you will be observing the endemic fauns, manatees, crocodiles, turtles, dolphins, birds, etc.
