Yoga Retreats (1)
Marie first found yoga in Berkeley, CA, when she was living abroad for the first time of her life. It turned out to be a magical cure to not only for her back pain but also the anxiety and depression she was experiencing at the time. Since then, she has traveled on and intensely studied holistic health (nutrition, traditional Tantra, Thai massage, qi gong, and more with over 900-hour of yoga training). It's her firm belief that following your heart will lead you to happiness and curiosity is the key to wisdom. She speaks German, French, English, and some Spanish.
Since the age of 3, Julia has been doing all sorts of sports and movement arts. Around 8 years ago, she discovered yoga. She soon realized that the practice of yoga is not only a great way to move your body, but also a practice for the mind and soul. For some years now, she practices and teaching traditional Hatha yoga, as well as a more modern form of yoga, influenced by Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga, which includes elements from psychology and physiotherapy. She especially enjoy helping students to advance their physical yoga practice - and while they're at it, to change their mindset as well.
