The Hilltop Escape is especially ideal because of its privacy. This timber-frame chalet is surrounded by over four acres of lush forest. The size ensures an intimate setting, with a maximum of 12 guests.

In line with their core belief that everyone should have the chance to experience the positive impact of yoga and wellness, they offer a range of accommodations at different prices, including private and shared rooms and bathrooms. Bring a friend and share the master suite or come alone and bunk with new friends.

The grand stone fireplace and hot tub seal the deal, giving you space to enjoy the peace and serenity. Hiking trails and waterfalls abound in the surrounding region, providing plenty of opportunities to relax and reboot. In the end, the location makes this retreat special and personal.

Program

Yoga, nature, and serenity

Reconnect and recenter while meeting like-minded friends on a similar quest toward contentment and acceptance. Not only will you have the opportunity to embark on a journey of self-discovery and well-being, but you will also meet amazing and adventurous people and connect with nature.

All levels of ability and experience will be warmly welcomed and Mountain Dog Yoga won’t judge where you are in your journey. All they ask for is that you will come with an open mind and heart.

Waterfall hike

Explore the magic of Diamond Notch Falls or Kaaterskill Falls with a short but vigorous hike and views of the amazing waterfall. About 25 minutes away from Hilltop, recenter with a guided meditation while in enjoying the stunning views.

How to get there

Arrival by car

From Exit 21 on I-87 / New York State Thruway, the venue is 23 miles on state highway Route 23W (which is a well-maintained route all year round).

Arrival by bus

There are buses from NYC, which Mountain Dog Yoga can help you to arrange. They are available for anything you need help with. Adirondack Trailways runs from Port Authority to the Windham bus stop. They can also send someone to pick you up there.

Arrival by train

There are trains from NYC, which Mountain Dog Yoga can help you to arrange. They are available for anything you need help with. Amtrak operates daily between NYC’s Penn Station and Hudson, NY, a 40-minute drive from Windham Mountain. They can make arrangements for pick-up in Hudson.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 100% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
