Montezuma Yoga is located at Hotel Los Mangos, just outside the village of Montezuma. Unlike other beach towns in Costa Rica, Montezuma has a strong health and eco oriented community and is not full of real estate development. The rivers and beaches are clean and still full of unspoiled nature and wildlife. This is the perfect place for people travelling solo and you will make friends easy, if you like.
You will be practicing yoga in the open, wooden pavilion looking out to the ocean and listening to the sound of birds, monkeys, and the ocean. Just drop in, there are mats and props available for you. Combine the relaxing and stretching benefits of yoga with learning or deepening your Spanish knowledge while on vacation in some of the most beautiful beaches.
You will be staying at hotel Los Mangos, located on the beautiful Nicoya Peninsula, in the town of Montezuma. This small, hip village remains one of the most popular destinations on the coast, with its beautiful beaches, great nightlife, and abundant natural beauty.
The hotel offers accommodation in 10 rooms and 9 bungalows in a beautiful mango orchard looking out to the ocean. The owner has designed the bungalows to resemble the architecture found in Bali, connected by walking roads, the buildings have an octagonal structure, made of "Nazareno" wood with cathedral ceilings and wide roofed porches. You can relax by the pool, watch the monkeys, hike to the waterfalls or take a horseback ride along the beaches. Single rooms have either one queen bed or two twin beds and share the bathroom with one other room. Bungalows have one queen and one twin bed and private bath, as well as a private porch with hammock.

She arrived to Montezuma in October 2001 where she began teaching yoga and organizing yoga retreats with the Hotel Los Mangos. She is a 500-hour certified RYT with the Yoga Alliance and also an Anusara inspired teacher.
