Mondo Surf & Lifestyle Village is a unique surf retreat offering surf packages nestled between the beach and the rice fields of Canggu, Bali. Neighbor to one of Bali’s best surf spots, the retreat center is located just a few minutes away from the beach yet still enjoy the calmness of the Bali life. It sits on a 3,300 square meters plot of beautifully landscaped land and blends luxurious local architecture with an international touch in decor.
Mondo Surf & Lifestyle Village offers comfortable rooms and luxurious bedding. Each room has a private bathroom, TV and DVD, mini-fridge, AC as well as a safe deposit box.
The common areas are spacious and surrounded by nature, perfect for a yoga session or a private retreat. You will want to swim in the oversized pool all day long and laze around the beautiful property.
Room Agung
This room has two bunk beds and sleeps, four persons. It is big, super comfortable and sheets and linen are comfortable and clean. The bathroom is open to the outside so you feel you are in the tropics and there is always a breeze passing through.
Individual safety storage area is available, TV and DVD player set for the relaxing times. There is a mini-fridge inside the room for personal usage. Decoration with surf photography to inspire future adventures.
Room Kelimutu
The Kelimutu room is one of Mondo's shared rooms. It sleeps 3 persons in one bunk bed and one single bed. Equipped with TV, DVD and a mini-fridge, this room is perfect to share with someone but still feels comfortable. This room is located on the first level of their new building.
It has the most stunning views from Mondo and its beautiful gardens. There is a comfy ensuite toilet and shower with comfortable and clean towels. The bedding and linen are changed regularly keeping high standards of hospitality for a budget price. An individual safety storage area is also available.
Room Batur
Room Batur has a queen bed for a maximum of two-person occupancy. There are a TV, DVD and a mini-fridge together with an ensuite toilet and shower with comfortable and clean towels. Individual safety storage is also available. This room is facing a beautiful garden and you can have a glimpse of the pool. The bed linen is changed regularly. Room Batur is absolutely a comfortable budget accommodation.
Room Ijen
In a new beautiful building, this room has its entrance facing the yoga area. It has big windows facing a stunning private garden with multiple varieties of exotic plants. The room has a king bed (or two single) and sleeps a maximum of two persons.
Nicely decorated, with a traditional touch and European comfort standards, makes you feel in Bali while enjoying first-class accommodation. The bathroom has a shower and a private toilet. A safety box and mini-fridge are available as well as an AC and TV/DVD.

Room Tambora
This room is located on the first level of our newest building. Room Tambora has big windows facing treetops, creating an amazing relaxing feeling when inside the room. You can also enjoy the incredible view over Mondo and the river area in its big veranda with comfortable seating.
The room has a king bed (or two single) and sleeps a maximum of 2 persons. The room is nicely decorated, with a traditional touch and high comfort standards. The bathroom has a shower and a private toilet. A safety box and mini-fridge are available as well as an AC and TV/DVD.

Room Bromo
In a beautiful traditional Balinese building, this room has at its entrance a lovely balcony facing the bar and pool. A Caribbean hammock sits right in front of the lazy times.
The room has a queen bed and a single bed sleeps, 3 persons. Nicely decorated, with a traditional touch and European comfort standards, makes you feel you are in Bali while enjoying first-class accommodation.
The bathroom is huge with a bathtub, shower, and private toilet. A safety box and mini-fridge are available as well as an AC and TV/DVD.

Room Merapi
In a beautiful traditional Balinese building, this room has at its entrance a lovely balcony facing the bar and pool. A Caribbean hammock sits right in front of the lay times. The room consists of a queen bed and a single bed sleeps, 3 persons.
Nicely decorated, with a traditional touch and European comfort standards, makes you feel you are in Bali while enjoying first-class accommodation. The open bathroom concept makes you feel in the tropics while you have a shower looking at the outside tropical greens. A safety box and mini-fridge are available as well as an AC and TV/DVD.

Room Krakatoa
This is a great room in Mondo's newest building. Spacious and with a stunning view over one of Mondo’s Balinese temples. You can relax hearing the river and the sound of the tall trees in the exterior wooden private balcony. Decorated in detail with Balinese feeling and surf inspiring pictures.
Krakatoa has a king bed (or two single) and an extra single bed. Sleeps a maximum of 3 persons. All complete with an ensuite bathroom, luxurious bedding, mini-fridge, AC, TV/DVD, and a safety deposit box.

Semeru Bungalow
Nice private bungalow with one king bed and two single beds. Sleeps a maximum of 4 guests. Perfect for families or bigger groups of friends that look for some extra comfort and privacy.
The bungalow has its own private balcony with seats and a Caribbean hammock overlooking the garden and pool. The decoration is impeccable and the toilet has a bathtub and shower.
Clean towels, linen, and comfortable beds are waiting for great nights of rest after all the daily activities. The room has AC, mini-fridge, safety box, and TV/DVD.

Rinjani Bungalow
This is Mondo's most special room. A stunning wooden private bungalow, decorated in detail with Balinese inspired and modern décor.
The outdoor balcony has a secluded feel and direct views of the Mondo gardens and swimming pool. There you will find enough comfortable areas to relax and read a book or simply enjoy the sounds of nature in the Caribbean hammock or on the available sunbeds.
Rinjani has a king bed and a single bed and sleeps a maximum of 3 persons. All complete with an ensuite bathroom, luxurious bedding, mini-fridge, AC, TV/DVD, and a safety deposit box.

Aerial yoga
Aerial yoga is a type of yoga that combines Pilates movements and traditional yoga poses, spiced up with dance exercises while using a hammock to help and support the different postures. For this reason, it is often called anti-gravity yoga or suspension yoga too.
Benefits
There are several reasons to be obsessed with yoga, as it helps improve flexibility, offers cardio-metabolic benefits and above all, it increases mental balance. Aerial yoga includes all these wonderful advantages, linked with some more – thanks to the hammock, hanging upside down can ease body pain, and moreover, it is especially helpful for those with back pains, scoliosis, or a herniated disc, for instance.
In addition, it lengthens your ligaments and enhances skin conditions such as reducing fine lines and improving varicose veins.
Besides the numerous physical benefits, Aerial yoga helps evolve a remarkable upper body strength and is a great option for cardio as well. Despite the absolute lack of “pulling” movements, it improves shoulder balance and it is also one of the best ways to strengthen the abdomens.
This is a suitable choice for beginners as well. Due to the fact that practices are assisted by the hammock, in Aerial yoga, each movement is easier to perform in the air than it would be on the ground. When learning new postures and alignment, newcomers build significant body strength to be able to execute poses on their own.
Moreover, these classes have fewer participants, thus the teacher can provide a more personal relationship by giving specific advice and customized directions.

Recommended Airports
Ngurah Rai International Airport

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Airport transfer is included in the price.
Once you provided your arrival details, a driver will pick you up at the information center of the airport in Denpasar. He will have a Mondo sign with your name on it. Once Mondo Surf & Lifestyle Village has confirmed your airport pick up, please do not organize your own transport.
If you have trouble finding the driver at the airport, please call or WhatsApp the driver. Please note there is free WiFi at the airport.
Another option if you don’t want to use your own phone is you can buy a local sim card at the airport or somewhere else. For approximately 10 EUR you will get a sim card with credit and data that will last for a month.
Please note that the airport picks up service is only valid for the check-in day (unless for after midnight pickups) and the drop-off service is only valid for the check-out day.
If you are already in Bali, Mondo Surf & Lifestyle Village has several pick-ups and drop-off options. If you are in Kuta or Seminyak, their driver will pick you up or drop you off for free. If you want to be picked up or dropped off in Ubud, Sanur, and Uluwatu areas, the price is 250,000 IDR per way. If you are in a different part of Bali, please ask Mondo Surf & Lifestyle Village for a rate or you will have to organize your own transportation.
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
