Experience the spectacular sunsets from the west coast of the tropical island Koh Phangan! The Sunset Hill Resort has a unique panoramic sea view hillside location above the unspoiled beaches of Haad Yao and Haad Chao Phao; The best spot to enjoy unrivaled views of the Gulf of Thailand, Angthong National Marine Park, Koh Samui and of course watch the daily sunset.
The resort offers a range of luxury apartment style rooms and luxury facilities. The spacious apartments also have large terraces with amazing sea or garden views so you can both live outdoors and indoors. You can relax at the famous infinity pool or take a free shuttle to the tranquil Secret or Haad Chao Phao beaches or take part in one of the amazing retreat or wellness programs. It is recommended renting a motorbike and use Sunset Hill as your base for exploring the beautiful island of Koh Phangan!
Your level of experience may inform your decision of which course best suits you. Mokshapassionateyoga recommends that you have at least six months of regular yoga practice before starting either training.
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
The in-person training will be done after the mandatory online. There are no live sessions for the online part. You should ideally complete the online program prior to the course start. It will be available four weeks before the in-person training. There are 40 hours of online content which is self-paced and pre-recorded via Teachable. You will have 21 days of in-person training in Koh Phangan.
Once the in-person and online content is completed, you will get the certificate. This training will cover a variety of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, and Yin yoga. You will also learn how to modify poses and sequences to accommodate students' different levels and needs. Mokshapassionateyoga will also have occasional evening events, such as Kirtan, Sound healing, dance parties, and more. These events are optional but highly recommended.
You will start your day with a peaceful meditation session followed by pranayama (breathing exercises) and asanas (yoga postures) to awaken your body and mind.
After your morning practice, you will enjoy a nourishing breakfast to fuel you for the rest of the day.
During this time, you will dive deeper into various aspects of yoga, including anatomy, philosophy, and asana clinics. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and understanding of the practice.
You will take a break for a delicious and healthy lunch, giving you time to relax, recharge, and connect with your fellow trainees.
In the afternoons, you will explore various asanas through workshops and practices, including Yin and Restorative yoga. You will have the opportunity to refine your teaching skills and deepen your practice. You will have free time to explore the local area, relax, or connect with your fellow trainees.

Mika transitioned from the corporate world to yoga in 2005. She is a certified yoga teacher with over 600 hours registered with Yoga Alliance, having completed advanced training in Bali and India. She has also dedicated herself to studying female anatomy, cyclical living, and becoming a qualified Hormone yoga therapist. Additionally, Mika is an IIN hormone health coach. Her training includes 200 hours of Hatha / Vinyasa yoga in Bali, 100 hours of myofascial yin yoga in Bali, 36 hours of Fly high Yoga in Gili Trawangan, Bali, and 300 hours of Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India.
As a yoga leader, Warren supportively challenges beginners and intermediate practitioners with a sense of fun and deep feeling for the effects of asana and pranayama. Warren's role as a teacher and advisor to his GuruJi (plus Retreat Management) at Nepal Yoga Academy has led him to lead the development of curriculums for 200, 300 & 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training (RYS) plus specialist yoga courses, including the development of training manuals; online presence & marketing; student support; and retreat staff development.
