Set on the beach, Shambala Petit Hotel, the laid-back, all-casita hotel with a tropical vibe is a six-minute walk from Sistema Ox Bel Ha caves. The 10 bright, minimalist casitas feature thatched roofs and Wi-Fi. Distinct touches include sitting areas, four-poster beds, patios, and flat-screen television. The price depends on the size and location of the cabana.

During this retreat, you will enjoy from three to four classes a day to choose from starting with a sunrise meditation. Yin and Vinyasa yoga, yoga Nidra, and barre, are all options you may choose according to your needs.
A thoughtful, primal, playful, yet challenging flow balancing both yin and yang; energizing the body and balancing the mind. A sweaty, stretchy, joyful practice set to a soundtrack that will get you moving and breathing deeply. You are encouraged and will feel comfortable meeting your body wherever it is at each time you step onto your mat. While some previous experience with basic poses is helpful, you will have an abundance of loving space to modify and challenge as you choose.
Yin yoga focuses on the slow, patient, opening of the fascial layer of the body. The fascia is the connective tissue (shrink wrap) that underlies the skin, wraps the muscles, holds the bones together and is the conduit for the meridians through which energy flows. Over time chronic tightness of this layer causes stiffness and inflexibility restricting mobility and energy flow. Fascia responds differently than muscle and requires this slow approach to facilitate opening. This is a deeply meditative practice. No prior yoga experience required.
Every Barre fitness class is fun and empowering class set to some motivating tracks. Classes begin with a warm-up focusing on postural strength and alignment, followed by a series of upper body exercises using light weights. The ballet barre is used to sculpt the lower body, abs and for flexibility training. Then it is down to the mat for core work and a relaxing and invigorating final stretch.
