The accommodation options are on private and double room basis. You will be staying in a colonial style boutique hotel at the center of the city and close to several of Merida’s most interesting sights. Equipped with a beautiful courtyard, swimming pool, and in-house spa services, Boutique by the Museo is the perfect place for you to unwind and relax.

Deluxe boutique room

The deluxe boutique room consists of one bedroom and one bath. The room is equipped with a personal safe, high-speed internet, custom-made cedar closets, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, luxury mattresses, Peacock Alley linens, and natural oil insect repellent.

Deluxe boutique suite

Each deluxe boutique suite includes two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a living and dining room that is equipped with a full size refrigerator. The suites are equipped with a personal safe, high-speed internet, custom-made cedar closets, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, high definition television, luxury mattresses and Peacock Alley linens with soaps, and natural oil insect repellent.

Through this retreat, you will get the chance to explore the Mayan and colonial culture of Mexico filled with inspiring yoga sessions, meditations, and delicious and healthy food intended to invoke your curiosity and spark joy. This retreat will surely rejuvenate your body, mind, and soul.

You will be guided through morning meditation and yoga classes in the courtyard of a colonial hacienda and you will start the day centered positively through a yoga asana and a pranayama or yogic breathing class. Whether you are an experienced yoga practitioner or just blossoming into your practice, you will learn to move with awareness, strength, and balance.

Your two daily yoga asana classes will be catered to your specific body needs and focus on strengthening and calming your body and mind and reconnecting you to your inner happiness. This retreat is perfect for you if you are a beginner or experienced in yoga, you want to explore culture and nature, you love new experiences. you need to reconnect with joy and happiness, or you want to take a break and rejuvenate.

During this retreat, you can immerse in Mexico's rich colonial and Mayan culture. The retreat includes a visit to the ancient Mayan city of Uxmal and a swim in a fresh water underground cave. You can also reconnect to nature during a visit to a local national park to enjoy watching the wildlife and visit a beautiful beach.

  • Mirella Saraswati

    Mirella is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher who studied with the Sivananda ashram yoga retreat in the Bahamas and has served as staff at this institution to deepen her practice and continue education in yoga and meditation. She is also a health chef and food coach with a background in Ayurvedic nutrition. She combines the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with modern nutrition and practical lifestyle tips to help people realign to their true nature. Together with Andrea, she has been teaching in yoga detox retreats all over the globe for the last two years.

    (Yin Yoga, Pilates Instructor)

    Andrea’s teaching style is an infusion of mindful alignment and intentional breath. Andrea is a certified yoga teacher with over 2,000 hours of training and teaching experience, a certified advanced mat Pilates instructor, and a certified Yin yoga teacher.

This retreat will be held in Boutique by the Museo, Merida, Mexico. As the cultural heart of the Yucatan Peninsula, Merida is a town of rich colonial heritage and has a bustling artistic scene. Merida is considered as the safest city in Mexico and is also a convenient place to explore some of Yucatan’s best cultural and natural wonders, like ancient Mayan temples and hidden freshwater caves.

Merida is a wonderful city to explore on foot during your free time and it is perfectly safe to go on the streets in the evening and enjoy the artist markets and live music on one of the many squares.

Merida has a rich culinary scene and some of the best food in Yucatan and beyond. There are plenty of fresh food available and you will be served delicious breakfast and dinner daily, leaving the lunches open for you to explore the local cuisine by yourself and try some of Merida’s finest foods.

Mirella will use local and organic ingredients whenever possible, to prepare healthy Mexican style dinners and energizing morning smoothies with your breakfast. You will learn to make some Yucatan style dishes during your local cooking class and how to whip up healthy smoothies during Mirella’s smoothie workshop.

A special deep-tissue massage designed to prevent muscular soreness and easy tired joints that result from overexertion, intense exercise, or stress and tension.
