Come and enjoy yoga in the great outdoors with Mindful Movements. Breathe in the natural beauty of this enchanted woodland and breathe out the stresses of the city life. An amazing opportunity to energize the body and soul, develop your yoga practice and have a lovely weekend away from it all. It is hard to believe that this fantastic location of outstanding natural beauty is only 30 miles from London.

You will be sleeping in amazingly quirky and kitsch Shepards huts. Traditionally used by shepherds to keep an eye on their flock, these sturdy, curved roof shelters were wheeled from field to field during the lambing season. Nowadays, you can sleep in comfort with a good mattress and proper bedding and even sit and relax next to the wood burning stoves that keep you warm and dry all year round.
The shower hut is split into two mini bathrooms, both with shower, sink and instant hot water. Alternatively, bask in the sunshine and enjoy the great outdoors with a solar shower in the trees. The toilet is a compost loo, it is no different from home except you flush with a scoop of sawdust instead of wasting water. Pretty, clean, odour free and helping the trees to grow. You will feel great by doing your bit for zero carbon!
There will be morning and evening yoga classes, additional themed workshops, and a lovely walk in the hills. Everything is optional so you can choose to do all, or simply relax. Mindful Movements will try to do most their classes outdoors but they also have the option of the bale lodge for classes too. Morning classes with be Vinyasa flow, an energetic and active class, where classical and modern yoga poses are seamlessly linked to create a flow of movement. Evening classes will be slightly more restorative with some yoga Nidra (yoga sleep).
Hana first came across yoga during her dance training. Throughout her professional career in dance, her practice of yoga supported her and kept her sane and balanced during challenging times. Yoga eventually became a passion and her knowledge and experience of the physical and emotional body through dance eventually became intertwined with her practice and teaching of yoga.
The Green Escape is conveniently located less than one hour away by train from central London. It is part of the National Trust woodland on Leith Hill, and the site is right in the heart of the Surrey Hills. The Green Escape on Leith Hill is an eco-friendly venue within 6 acres of secluded woodland. The nearest neighbors are a flock of sheep in the field outside.

The meals during this retreat are included in the price. All food will be delicious, healthy, and vegetarian. You can eat inside the Bales, the straw bale lodge at the heart of the site, or outside in the outdoor kitchen with the occasional dinner around the 'fire pit' under the stars.
The nearest train stations are Dorking or Ockley train stations, with a short taxi drive after. There are parking spaces on the neighboring farm for up to 10 cars which is a 5-minute walk from the secret woodland.
