Experience a whole weekend with meditation, yoga, and relaxation in Vlieland! You can steep yourself in this mindfulness journey to be connected with the elements of the island. You can feel the breeze, listen to the surf, watch the air, and walk on the beach or mudflats. During this weekend, you will be guided to reconnect with yourself and the nature through meditation and yoga exercises. You will learn how to keep a grip on your busy life rather than living it. Get away from your normal everyday life, relax, and let Met Mindfulness take care of you!
At Hotelletje de Veerman, you are going to stay in a double room.
During this mindfulness weekend, you will practically work with mindfulness exercises such as the body scan, sitting meditation, and yoga. The elements of the island such as sand, sea, wind, and air will help you to be integrated with the exercises. You are going to go out a lot and try to focus your attention inward. This way, you will be aware of your own peace quietly lying deep inside of you.
A bit of mindfulness theory will be discussed in which it can be used to deal with the challenges of life. You will also have plenty of time to yourself to enjoy the tranquility, space, and silence of Vlieland. You will start the day with a program consisting of mindfulness meditation, a little theory and reflection on yourself, in between coffee or tea time, and lunch. In the early afternoon, you can enjoy a quiet stroll.
However, for the rest of the Saturday afternoon, there will be no program so you can have the time to yourself and explore Vlieland. There will be a meditation at the beginning of the evening. After that you can go to eat at a restaurant of your choice, with or without the rest of the group. On Sunday, the program will start with a morning meditation and end at the beginning of the afternoon. For the rest of Sunday, you can freely spend your time.
There are increasing numbers of people who benefit from the peace, understanding, and generosity that are provided by mindfulness. Mindfulness is not focused on relaxation, yet by combining meditations with the elements of the island of Vlieland, chances are very high that you will experience relaxation, calmness, and gentleness.

Evelien's interest in mindfulness was aroused when she read a book of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Depression written by Williams, Segal, and Teasdale. She started exercising by taking part as a training participant and continued as a trainer at See True.
This retreat will take place at Hotelletje de Veerman in Vlieland, Netherlands.
You will be served with 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and one dinner in this retreat. Dinner and drinks on Saturday will be on your own account as you will have dinner at a restaurant of your own choice with or without the other group members.
Please arrive at Harlingen-Haven railway station. Met Mindfulness will pick you up by ferry from Harlingen to Vlieland. The pick-up is included in the price.
