Experience the beauty of yoga, relax and discover as you please. Do you want to enrich your yoga practice and at the same time discover a part of southern Sri Lanka? Do you want to work on your wellbeing, have the freedom to relax or explore, and enjoy a wonderful holiday away from the big tourist crowds? Then this is the retreat for you!
Come and stay eight days in a luxurious homestay villa within 10 minutes of walking from the beach. You can enjoy daily yoga, a delicious healthy vegetarian breakfast, and lots of free time to explore the surroundings or just relax around our swimming pool or at the beach. All this in a small group of maximum 10 students.
Your weekly retreat formula includes 7 yoga classes in total, which you can choose from the weekly schedule and to which you can add any number of classes for a special guest price. Please note that no reimbursement is provided when a student decides not to take a class
On Sunday morning and Saturday afternoon, no classes are held so please arrange arrival and departure times accordingly. On occasion, ME Yoga Villa will organize special workshops on Saturday which are not included in the retreat formula but for which you are welcome to participate.
Check-in as from 2 p.m., check-out until 11 a.m., ME Yoga Villa is happy to store your luggage when arriving earlier or departing later.

Elke is passionate about yoga, food and traveling. She has been in India several times to study yoga and deepen her practice. Her goal is to share the joy of yoga and to adapt the practice of yoga to individual needs. After having lived and teached in several countries, Elke has now spread out her mat in Sri Lanka where she founded ME Yoga Villa, her lifelong held dream yoga retreat center. With an advanced 500hrs teacher’s degree in Hatha and Vinyasa, a Yin yoga, an Aerial yoga, a yoga therapy, and a Thai yoga massage certification you will be in excellent hands ;-)

Each morning will include a delicious vegetarian breakfast with up till 3 different options that change daily. We make Sri Lanka style breakfast such as egg or string hoppers, roti or Sri Lankan bread with curries and coconut sambal. We also provide a leaner option, such as porridges, homemade muesli or smoothie bowls, and a more continental option like plain toast, eggs or pancakes.
All accompanied by fresh fruits, Ceylon the or Sri Lankan coffee. With prior notice, we can also cater to your specific dietary needs. For your other meals, you have the freedom to eat out, make use of our kitchen or join us for occasional home-cooked lunch or dinner.
During your retreat, you can go out to explore or simply relax at the pool and give yourself whatever nurturing and space you need. In addition to the included yoga classes, you can fully tailor your dream retreat adding in extra classes, massages, hair treatments, cooking classes and many other activities nearby such as snorkeling, surfing, whale watching, and cultural visits.
