Playa Grande is a small town on a large beach located on the Pacific side of the province of Guanacaste, on the northern peninsula of Costa Rica. The capital of Guanacaste is the city of Liberia. This is where the closest airport, Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR), is located. The beach is pristine and sparsely populated. It is known as a good surfing beach. Tamarindo, a large touristy town, is a 20-minutes cab ride away, and this is a good place for shopping.

"My CranioSacral sessions with Maureen have helped to alleviate my low back pain and migraine headaches. Her presence, knowledge, and skillfulness create an atmosphere of trust and peacefulness. Maureen's approach guides the body, mind, and heart to release, shift, and heal. Her light-filled touch is subtle, soothing, and effective. During each session and after, I appreciate the sense of being deeply connected to my higher self. Discomfort is transformed and replaced by a sense of ease and light-heartedness. I highly recommend Maureen to everyone seeking to explore CranioSacral Therapy."

"What I understand about CranioSacral Therapy would be 'fit on the head of a pin' as the saying goes. What I do know is that after my sessions with Maureen, I have a deep sense of wellness in my body, mind, and spirit. With CranioSacral, I had relief from chronic neck pain for days and eventually the relief lasted weeks. This is in contrast with massage, where the physical relief is typically momentary. Maureen's gentle touch works to open the flow of cranial sacral fluid - the relief has been profound and lasting."

"Maureen was so reassuring and helped me to know what was going on during our CranioSacral session. I had three or four treatments from Maureen and over time the pain from my herniated disk abated and I was relieved. I am really grateful to Maureen for these treatments which gave me relief from pain and helped to make me feel better in general. Maureen gave me the boost that I needed when my body wasn't doing it for itself. I would recommend CranioScacral Therapy from Maureen to anyone."

"I have had ALS for two years. I began receiving CranioSacral Therapy from Maureen over a year ago. I look forward to her treatments every week because after each session, I feel totally relaxed. I also feel more energized. My anxiety and panic leave me and my pain is eased. Also, my body is better aligned after each treatment. I very much appreciate Maureen's treatment and highly recommend her to others."

"I first started getting CranioSacral work with Maureen approximately four years ago after experiencing low back pain resulting from injury. Maureen was so gentle, knowledgeable, and intuitive. I immediately began to see results from my sessions with her. It was such a relief to be pain-free. Recently, I have had both Svaroopa-style Yoga classes and Embodyment Yoga therapy with Maureen and found both experiences to be extremely grounding, stress-reducing, and also pain-relieving. I highly recommend Maureen for both bodywork and yoga."

"After just one session of Embodyment therapy with Maureen, I felt much more grounded, relaxed, and relieved of tension and anxiety. She greatly reduced the chronic pain in my lower back and alleviated the ache in my shoulders and neck. I can't wait for my next session."
