Vesela Mincheva was first introduced to yoga about 15 years ago in her home country Bulgaria. A seed was planted back then. Today, she believes the most ancient science is yoga science. Her practice is her spiritual path that she kindly wishes to share with everyone. Breath, mind, and spirit harmony is what she works to achieve in her classes. Vesela understands that asana purifies the body and teaches concentration, and through systematic practice of pranayama and meditation one becomes cleansed of all faults and comes to see the transitory nature of all things.
Just a year ago, Aleah fell off a 50-foot cliff in Oahu on the 'Crouching Lion' hike. She has continued to teach the past year while enduring four intense elbow surgeries. She feels this experience has served to make her a better instructor because she is able to empathize deeply and take caution to accommodate for all injuries. Aleah loves teaching yoga, she believes that following the limbs of yoga aids in the manifestation of a fulfilling lifestyle. In asana, she strives to incorporate strength, flexibility, core, and balance; all held together through the powerful guide of pranayama.
Why yoga? Yoga has become a lifetime practice for me. Medicine for my soul and my whole being. Healing. Softening. Deep acceptance. To create more space for trust, but yet learning how to firmly set healthy boundaries. To trust our intuitions. To own our powers and inner fire and utilize them for a greater cause. To become our true authentic selves, yet leave enough room to transform into the best version of ourselves. Perfection is an illusion. Let us work on being a better human instead. Come join me for some real, deep practice. The depth is not for the faint of the heart.
