This is a specialized training 50 hours YACEP with experienced teachers in the beautiful mountains and gorges of Spain. The program is taught from the integration of Iyengar Yoga, restorative, Hatha yoga, and Kashmir tantra for all teachers, yogis, therapists, health and movement professionals, and for everyone interested in the restorative practice of yoga. The Art of Tranquility

This is a specialized training in Restorative yoga, pranayama, and chanting of mantras with an emphasis on the therapeutic practice and materials, conscious breathing – pranayama, and use of the voice. This training includes an introduction to the application of Yoga Nidras and visualizations for self-discovery.

From the integration of Iyengar, restorative, Hatha, and Kashmir tantra yoga we teach this level I course aimed to practitioners, teachers, yoga lovers, therapists, health, and movement professionals. In short, all those people interested in the restorative practice of yoga who want to deepen their practice and teaching methodology.

You will learn how to correctly use bricks, belts, kuruntas (wall cords), bolsters, chairs, and a wide variety of therapeutic elements that will allow you to approach your practice in a gradual way, paying special attention your breathwork. Whether you are a teacher or not, you will acquire the necessary knowledge to design Restorative yoga and Pranayama classes and workshops and accompany your students with greater confidence in the treatment of different physical and emotional limitations.

Our methodology, and this specific training, includes the use of yoga Nidra (the yoga of sleep) as well as visualizations for raising consciousness.

What Is Restorative Yoga?

Modern restorative yoga is a variation that was born from the master BKS Iyengar, recognized worldwide as one of the most influential yoga teachers. Bks Iyengar taught his students to use props to perfect their poses. His teachings were called Yoga Iyengar. Although he never gave his own name to this way of teaching.

The importance of restorative yoga lies in its contribution to stress reduction and anxiety management.

This type of practice mitigates the effects of stress and anxiety in those who practice it. By activating the nervous system for sympathetic, it is induced in a calm mental state in which the human being can leave this state of constant struggle in which many of us live in our daily lives.

Restorative Yoga is a therapeutic proposal based on the postures of Hatha yoga, where supports such as cushions, blankets, belts, bricks, kuruntas ropes, therapeutic chairs, and many other materials are used to help approach the practice in a soft, relaxed form while respecting the conscious alignment of our body. It also allows access to observe the posture from stillness and calm. Restorative practice allows our body to explore each posture in a progressive way and its benefits gradually permeate us in a progressive way.

It is a training for yoga practitioners and teachers of all levels with at least two years of yogic practice. Therapists, health, and movement professionals also often attend this training.

For those teachers who have completed a 200 and/or 500-hour training and want to deepen their practice and teaching. You will gain confidence in the treatment of injuries and you will be able to assist in a safe way adjusting each posture to each specific case. You can learn in-depth techniques and tools that will endorse you as a yoga teacher and enrich your classes and students. It is an opportunity to enter the tradition of Iyengar yoga, restorative, Hatha, and traditional tantra.

In this level I course, you will learn in-depth the bases of the therapeutic yoga and its application in different physical and emotional states. To deepen your therapeutic practice, it is recommended to also take level II where different cases will be addressed in depth.

This training is guided by Pablo Ferrero, an official Iyengar yoga teacher with extensive experience teaching in retreats, seminars, and training.
