"I came across Mundax whilst researching yoga retreats in Kerala and was instantly sold with its promise of Hatha yoga practices and meditation. At no point was I disappointed. These practices took place in the morning before breakfast and late afternoon before dinner, both taken by Mat who shows such a dedication to his practice that you can't help but be entranced."

"Set in a secluded village in Thekkady, Kerala gives you the time out to fully switch off from the humdrum of the bustle and noise of India (and home). The home stay was utterly beautiful, clean, clearly well looked after, and loved. With only two rooms the maximum capacity for the stay at any time is four people, which again, adds to the quiet and tranquil state that Mat and Agi so wonderfully present."

"The rooms were large, clean, and had en suite bathrooms (with hot water, needed for a January and February evening!). I was lucky enough to have a view of the sunrise over the hills every morning."

"I couldn't write a review without mentioning the food! All was vegetarian and if you're a meat eater, at no point would you miss it. Each dish was typically Keralan, which I didn't find anywhere else on my travels."

"Mat and Agi are both such wonderful, warm, interesting people who definitely make the retreat the success that it is. I couldn't recommend Mundax highly enough and would go back in a heartbeat."

"Our five days at Mathew and Agi's amazing place could not have been better. Both Mathew and Agi were awesome hosts, extremely friendly, and very helpful with instructions on how to get there (they organized the taxi for us) and which buses to take to get back to the nearest city. Their place is an oasis of peace which was very much required after three months of back-packing through Asia and India - a great place to re-charge the batteries and catch your breath."

"The room we stayed in was quiet, private, and very comfortable, with a private bathroom and a small terrace to sit and have a quiet cup of tea or coffee."

"We are very much novices when it comes to yoga, but Mathew was a very good (and patient) yoga instructor and made it easy for us to pick up the basics and gave us a 45-minute yoga routine which suits our skill level. Even after a few days, I could notice myself getting more flexible."

"As great as the whole experience was, one of the highlights was the food! Lovely Indian breakfasts and dinners every day, with western options as well, and plenty of variety. They also taught us how to eat with our hands properly (our technique before that was a little bit lacking)."

"Would highly recommend staying here to anyone who is looking for a few days of peace and quiet to break up a busy trip - we stayed five days and wish we had have stayed longer!"

"My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Mundax Homestay for one week and it was not long enough. The rooms and house are clean, simply and beautifully appointed, and beds are super comfortable. The location is very peaceful and the gardens beautiful. Agi and Mathew could not be kinder, gentler, more perfect hosts. The mindfulness meditation and yoga were calming yet invigorating. And the food was the best - not heavy, but very delicious and healthy. Agi and Mathew quietly attended to any and everything you might need. Five stars for sure! Thank you Agi and Mathew!"

"We spent four days in this beautiful place with our two year old child. The house is surrounded by green and it's very quite and peaceful. Agi and Matthew were really kind and also satisfied special requests for our son. Food is amazing, healthy, and has really good portions. We liked a lot to talk to Matthew. We have learned a lot in order to improve our spiritual path. It was like listening and talking to a guru, with many tips and stories to understand and better our mind. The all around atmosphere in Mundax is just magic, full of energy with a lot of positivity!! We wish we could stay longer!"
