The practice of Reiki and yoga go hand in hand. The practice of yoga increases the flow of Reiki energy in a persons life. Yoga helps a person understand Reiki in a much deeper way. Reiki helps a person understand the deeper energies of yoga. A regular practice of yoga can bring very good results in therapies such as physiotherapy, psychotherapy, and in treatments of arthritis, asthma, and hearth problems. Also it gives excellent result in eliminating alcohol, tobacco, and drug addictions.
Scientists around the world are studying the effects of yoga on human body. They came to a conclusion that certain asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing) were connected with certain internal organs, endocrine glands, and psychological states. There are many different types of yoga, but here we will explore some basic Hatha yoga techniques that bring depth to the art and science of all forms of Reiki.
Hatha yoga in these modern times works from the outside in to bring the physical forces into alignment with the subtle anatomy of our higher divine nature. It is through the alignment of our energies with the divine that the flow of Reiki energy for healing and personal growth is increased.
Ear candling, also called ear coning, is an alternative medicine practice to improve general health and wellbeing by lighting one end of a hollow candle and placing the other end in the ear canal. Ear candles are made of cotton or linen thats wound into a cone shape, soaked in wax, and then allowed to harden.
An ear candling session can last from 15 minutes to 45 minutes, during which time a series of one or two ear candles may be burned for each ear. Usually, the treated person is lying on one side with the treated ear uppermost and the candle vertical. The candle can be stuck through a paper plate or aluminum pie tin to protect against any hot wax or ash falling onto the skin or hair.
The flame is cut back occasionally with scissors and extinguished between two and four inches from the subject. The experience is generally described as being unusual, but pleasant and relaxing. Some people may hear some crackling and popping, or feel some heat during the ear candling session. People who have ear tubes, perforated ear drums, or artificial ear drums should not do ear candling.
Marina was born in Berlin on 17 August 1959. She became interested in healing at a very young age. This passion led her to a lifelong study of many healing modalities, including homeopathy, psychology, diving medicine, emergency response, reflexology, shamanism, and Reiki. She is a Reiki Grand Master and has been practising and teaching this Japanese technique for over 30 years. She moved to Krabi, Thailand in 2000. In 2008, she travelled to India where she completed her Hatha yoga 200-hour YTTC. Then, she travelled to Bali for a 300-hour YTT, qualifying her Yoga Alliance’s E-RYT 500.
In 1999, Alessio (Alex) began to approach the activities of yoga, following the teachings of a great yogi, Enzo Russo, from the Italian Academy of Yoga (since 1969). With great motivation, Alex developed a growing interest in ancient yoga techniques and began studying and practicing constantly to become certificated yoga teacher. In 2006, he went to India to deepen his knowledge about different yoga techniques, such as Hatha yoga, Kundalini yoga, Yin yoga, pranayama, Kriya yoga, and more.
There is a pool at the center, there's no need to go to the neighbor's swimming pool like before.
