Guests will be housed in the former storehouse, which has four chambers with one, two, four, and five beds. There is also one room with a double bed in the studio building, where yoga classes take place. An additional bedroom with a double bed is located in the loft of the dining house. Guests may also bring their own tent and pitch it on the grounds of the retreat center.

Kundalini yoga

Kundalini yoga is based on Yogi Bhajan’s teachings. A dynamic form of yoga, combining postures, stretching, movement, meditation, breathing, and chanting, it stimulates the glands, strengthens the nervous system, opens meridians, and balances chakras. The practice of Kundalini yoga brings with it a sense of wellbeing that is immediately tangible.

After a yoga session one feels grounded, energized and uplifted. It helps to relax the body and calm the mind, increasing your capacity for concentration, creativity, and intuition. Ultimately, it brings you to a deeper understanding of your potentials and yourselves and allows for a harmonious merging of body, mind, and soul with the universal energy surrounding you. You are invited to delve in and immerse yourself into a holistic way of being and living, where body, mind and spirit are integrated and deeply cared for.

Two Kundalini yoga classes per day and morning Sadhana

This ancient practice combines postures, stretching, movement, meditation, breathing and chanting. It is a stimulating work out for your body, mind and spirit. In the morning, yoga is followed by an hour of chanting to clear your subconscious mind of negativity, of thoughts that hold you back or cast a shadow on your divine inner being.

Breath walks

A safe and easy work-out that keeps your body and heart fit while increasing oxygen levels in your blood, helping to fire up your metabolism and optimize calorie burning capacity while at the same time clearing your mind and expanding your awareness of the here and now.

Evening meditations

At the end of the day ground yourself and calm your mind in preparation for a restful and deep sleep.

Included excursions

This summer, we will embark on a day trip to Kihnu Island, a small island in the Baltic Sea, home to a close-knit community of about 700 inhabitants, who value their cultural traditions in clothing, language, music and handcrafts.

In 2003, Kihnu culture was recognized as a UNESCO Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

Throughout the centuries, the men of Kihnu have spent most of their time at sea, while the women have run the island and become the keepers of their cultural heritage. To this day, the women wear traditional, handwoven striped skirts and colorful printed blouses.

All meals are based on natural whole foods from the garden and farmer's market. Breakfast consists of porridge, served with berries and/or berry preserves, home-baked whole grain rye sourdough bread, butter, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuces, and green tea.

Lunch starts with a green smoothie followed by cooked whole grain, legume, vegetable, egg dishes. Afternoon tea is yogi tea made from ginger, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, black tea, milk, and honey. Dinner is a hearty vegetable-grain-legume soup served with home baked whole grain rye sour dough bread and butter. For dessert, we offer fresh fruits and berries.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (TLL). Most major airports in Europe will offer direct fights to Tallinn, Estonia. When coming from the USA, a stop-over will be necessary. Lufthansa will take you there through Frankfurt, KLM through Amsterdam, SAS through Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm and Finnair through Helsinki.

An arrangement for a car to pick you up from the airport and take you to Polli Talu can be made with advance notice. The airport transfer is 135 USD and can be shared among 4 people.

Arrival by bus

You can take a public bus from Tallinn bus station to Virtsu sadam. From Virtsu, a transfer can be arranged by local taxi to bring you to Polli Talu.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 14% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
