You are invited to soften into stillness. In this Yin Yoga and Mindfulness Immersion (with Teacher Training elective) you will learn and explore the basic principles of Yin Yoga, Pranayama, and Mindfulness Meditation. This Immersion will allow you to dive deep into the still practices of Yin Yoga and Mindfulness. For those who choose so, there is the option to learn how to teach with confidence and from the heart, based on a solid and effective teaching methodology. Marije has completed the curriculum of Sarah Powers’ Insight Yoga Institute and continues to study with her. This training is based on what Marije has learned during her many years of studying with renowned teachers, and her own experience as a dedicated practitioner.

Those students who elect to complete the Immersion as a Teacher Training will be given additional hours of self-study and practice, and need to complete the required reading material.
In order to receive a teaching certification, attendance for the full training is required.
For students residing in Europe a recording of the Friday night sessions will be made available.

Please note: All sessions will be offered live-stream through Zoom. With the exception of the Friday night sessions (to accommodate those in a different time zone) no recordings will be made available.
The Immersion will consist of 72.5 contact hours. Those students who elect to complete the Immersion as a Teacher Training will be given additional hours of self-study and practice, and need to complete the required reading material.
Marije E. Paternotte was born and raised in Amsterdam, where she studied law and worked as a corporate lawyer. After joining a yoga retreat in Bali, life led her to the United States, where she took her first yoga teacher training. She currently lives in New Jersey, teaches yoga locally, as well as workshops and retreats around the world. She encourages her students to find their own yoga and to practice mindfulness in everything they do, thus cultivating nonjudgmental self-observation that leads to inner peace, genuine happiness, and the discovery of who they truly are.
