Furnishings and fabrics complement the building and create a calm and very comfortable environment. The masseria comfortably accommodates 10 students and close by there are another 5 rooms in the trulli houses. These small, white conical buildings are one of the most magical aspects of the Puglian landscape. It’s not a hotel; it’s a unique, comfortable, family-run specialist yoga destination.
Two yoga classes a day with the opportunity for each guest to practice at his/her own level making the week suitable for students of different abilities. Do yoga and get to the spiritual heart of the practice.
Margherita’s unique teachings are grounded in the traditional lineage of Hatha yoga and the deep philosophy of Tantric practices married with the movement of soulful Vinyasa, the precision of Anusara, the dance of Rasa yoga - one of the most heartfelt synthesis of yoga, and the energetics of ParaYoga. She honors the traditions of yoga while awakening the true potential as an individual in the modern world. She hopes for each student to experience a journey that goes beyond the body and pierces deeply into the heart by weaving together asana, mantra, mudra, pranayama, meditation and chanting.
Quietness, peace, nature, liberty, yoga, sharing, heart, love: these are the key concepts to convey the spirit of “La Rosa dei 4 Venti, Yoga place”, set by the countryside at about 5.6 miles from Martina Franca, in Puglia, Italy.
The place is immersed in the splendid nature of Valle d’Itria, mostly famous for its Trulli (ancient buildings which have now almost all turned into houses) and for its worth visiting towns (Martina Franca, Alberobello, Ostuni, Cisternino).
The 16th century masseria (farmhouse) has been elegantly restored in a way that the old Apulian style meets contemporary chic. The cool, white stone building makes it a perfect temperature even under the hot Italian sun. The stylish rooms are extremely comfortable and the traditional Italian cuisine is mouth-wateringly divine.
This magical spot in the Itria Valley is secluded in the countryside dotted with the traditional small white conical buildings - trullis. Martina Franca is nearby with its charming cobbled streets, markets, Italian coffee and ice cream. La Rosa Dei Venti is the ultimate yoga destination.
