You will be accommodated in a room with double occupancy. The Grand Lucayan Resort has 542 guest rooms on-site; from 27 one- and two-bedroom suites, two Presidential suites, and 23 oceanfront Lanai suites. Regardless of the room class, all rooms have fantastic views of the ocean, marina, or tropical garden.
Guests of the resort's newest seaside retreat get a true taste of the islands with exclusive access to four new restaurants, as well as all the on-site recreation, entertainment, meals and premium-brand beverages, and airy guest rooms. It the best of the Grand Lucayan, all rolled into one.
In addition to their standard rooms, guests of Breaker's Cay hotel may also opt to treat themselves to a stay in either the 800-foot, one-bedroom suite or the 2,400-square foot Presidential suite, which with two bedrooms, separate living and dining rooms, and a stunning balcony from which to take in the views is as close to perfect as one can come.
Guests in search of a little privacy will find it in the tranquil Lanai Suites. Each stylish 900-square foot suite has a separate bedroom and sitting area and furnished balconies or patios with panoramic sea views.
You will begin each day with an inspiring and meaningful discussion led by Dr. Christine Kiesinger. For the afternoon free time, you can take an afternoon tour, go snorkeling, relax on the beach, enjoy water sports, walk to Port Lucaya Marina and marketplace, or treat yourself to a massage at the spa. Later in the evening, you will have another yoga session such as Yin yoga, Restorative yoga, gentle yoga, and yoga Nidra.
Bernie Marchand is an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 200) committed to the transformative power of yoga. She has taught over 2,000 students at 10 different studios across the U.S. and is currently pursuing her master's degree in yoga therapy. Her instructions will leave you feeling open physically, tranquil mentally, and evolved spiritually.
Dr. Christine E. Kiesinger has been teaching yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices for twenty years. She holds a doctorate in communication studies with expertise in the areas of interpersonal and family communication studies. Christine is also a certified yoga and meditation teacher, certified Reiki master teacher, and is completing her studies in clinical aroma therapy.
