Amazing food, rooms were so clean, whole place was super clean. They made me feel like I was part of the family. They really care and want to make sure that all your needs are met. It's an amazing place, with hiking and a great view for meditation.

Waking for yoga

We had an excellent time at Mapiya Retreat, spending a long weekend there. The property is in the country, which is excellent, if you're looking to relax. I loved being able to sit out on the porch, or in the yard on a chair and enjoy the quiet and nice weather. Our room was clean and comfortable and Dragana was very accommodating. A warm breakfast every morning was well appreciated. We had an excellent time and would stay there again!
1. Great location, quiet, beautiful!
2. Good for shooting, Sunset, star trails, milky way, etc.
3. Historic building, went back more than 150 year ago.
4. Comfortable rooms, clean, nice.
5. Great service, nice breakfast, kind Dragana and her daughter.
Hope to come back again.

My husband, myself and another couple spent last weekend in PEC - a destination we had chosen to explore after hearing that it's great for cyclists. It truly is.
And I had read so many wonderful things about Mapiya Yoga Retreat and Masha & Dragana, wonderful hosts.
We loved the farm setting of this B&B and had chosen a 60 km loop that we could begin right from the driveway (P.S. This route has many options along the way to shorten the ride, if need be - like you've hit your third winery of the day and you just need to get home to have a late afternoon nap!)
Masha and Dragana were super-accommodating and their home is really lovely, warm and clean. The breakfast food was delicious with 3 cheese eggs on toast, topped with a slice of tomato (so good!) one day, and the other day, 2 kinds of crispy, light French toast - one savoury, the other sweet with real maple syrup. Also, always a bowl of fresh fruit, toast, yogurt, coffee, tea, etc.
We also got the chance for a dip in the lake, down behind the barn and along a track through the woods. Very, uh, refreshing but so welcome after a scorching day of bike riding.
Thank you so much to our hostesses - we'll see you again sometime soon!
