Rooms at Manthan Yogic Village are lavishly furnished for a luxurious stay. They are decorated with rich, warm interiors, and contemporary amenities. These rooms are a perfect choice to unwind in tranquility.

Once you arrived at the venue, you will get a consultation session with the in-house Ayurvedic doctor who will prescribe you with 14 Ayurvedic treatment sessions. There will also be a consultation session with a yoga acharya who will also give you 10 personalized yoga sessions. Every morning, you will have a meditation or pranayama session. The yoga classes will be held in the morning and the afternoon during sunset every day.

Meditation

Despite all its popularity, today very few people truly know what meditation is. Some regard meditation as the mental concentration on something, others consider that people meditate when they imagine something that gives them peace or satisfaction. All these methods are being with one goal to slow down and eventually completely stop the incessant activity of their minds.

These exercises are not really meditation, they are substitutes for meditation because it is normally very difficult to stop the mind altogether. In reality, meditation is a state of thoughtless awareness. It is not an act of doing, it is an act of awareness. People doing meditation are either in this state or not, regardless of what they are doing in life. Truly, a man can be in meditation while doing his day’s labors as another man can when he is very far from meditation while sitting in a lotus posture on the top of a mountain.

When people take a look at the various explanations of meditation, another thing they often see is that meditation is defined as taking a moment to sit quietly or to ponder. In Ayurveda the emphasise is on a sattvic diet for healthy living, particularly for keeping your minds clear, happy, and at peace. The original sattvic diet was devised for the development of higher consciousness. Sattvic foods are foods that are abundant in prana, the universal life force that gives life to all sentient beings in both plant and animal kingdoms.

    "My stay at Manthan Yogic Village was perfect for peace and quiet and relaxation. The yoga classes were a highlight, the teachings were a mix of dynamic and softer flow and the teacher was lovely. Also great to have the Ayurvedic treatments onsite as that encouraged me to try this kind of treatment which was very different to what I've ever tried before. The treatments were relaxing and staff took great care. As I visited during the off season and was I think the only patron, I don't believe the village was fully serviced as there was no need but I do believe it is a simple, relaxing place, staff were amazingly attentive and helpful, really lovely. Rooms were quite nice, probably on a three star rating. If you are looking for a relaxing yoga centric break, right on the beach, this is perfect. "
