Sasha discovered yoga through her interest in health and fitness. Once beginning a regular practice, Sasha began to notice the benefits yoga had on her mind and body, such as improvements in strength, sleep, flexibility, body pain, and stress management. Yoga became her moving meditation, immediately she was hooked and the practice became part of her everyday routine. Following her passion for the practice, Sasha undertook her 200 hours of yoga teacher training in Nusa Lembongan, Indonesia and since then has never looked back.
Whilst working in corporate, Alex discovered yoga and completely fell in love with the ability to link the mind, body, and breath. Inspiring her to make a career change, she headed to Bali to complete her YTT 200 and decided to further her studies in health sciences. She believes in yoga as an all-encompassing practice, with a holistic view towards health; understanding the debilitating effects that injury and illness can cause to physical and emotional wellbeing. Alex loves making students feel welcome and comfortable, delivering Power, Hot, Restorative, and Yin flow in Melbourne.
