Sarvasmarana has been doing yoga for many lifetimes. When as a child she used to do yoga poses in the exact same manner as they are done actually without even knowing what they were and why she was doing them. Therefore, ever since her childhood Sarvasmarana Ananda Ma or simply Sarva Ma, as her students like to call her, knew that yoga is something that resonates within her at a deeper level.

Hari had the privilege of being born in a family who followed the teachings of Raman Maha Rishis, living in a village in Himalaya Mountains, which many believe is the home of yoga. The family environment allowed him to start his yoga journey at a very young age. As he grew older, he started to take yoga lessons from yogis and sages in the vicinity who taught him that yoga can only be learned from within and a person himself is his best teacher.
Later under the guidance of Sharat Arora, a great Iyengar guru, he began to practice Iyengar yoga, which he continues to practice as well as teach at Siddhi Yoga. Hari believes that physical and mental peace can come only through proper alignment of the body in yoga postures which is the key to physical and mental peace. Hari loves to share his wealth of knowledge with his students. In his words, yoga is a way to uncover the complete potential of liberation, which is dormant in every human being.
Born in Denmark, Bjoern started working with his body at a very early age studying dance from the age of 4, transitioning from working as a professional dancer to the fitness industry but always practicing yoga for recovering his physical and mental balance. Having completed his YTTC with Siddhi Yoga in 2013, under the careful tutelage of Guru Mahi, Bjoern continued on to teach with Siddhi Yoga as well as in Guru Mahis own drop in class studio in Goa. Passionate about the philosophy behind the world of yoga and various styles such as Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga Vinyasa, Bjoerns deep passion lies within the therapeutic powers of asana practice on both the body and mind.
She leads her first yoga class with the same hesitation and timidness of a first date. The 50-minute Hatha yoga class at her university was far from perfect, but it opened her eyes to the complexity of the science of yoga. Having endured several knee surgeries at a young age, as a dedicated athlete, she knew, in that first class, that she had found the practice that would continue to heal, inspire and encourage her to slow down and look closer.
Amy is from Portland, Oregon in the United States. In 2010, she graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. Amy has spent the last few years working in communications and sustainability, studying permaculture and herbal medicine, maintaining a regular yoga practice, and, interspersedly, enriching herself with world travels.
Amy received her first 200 and 500 certified yoga teacher hours with Mahi in Arambol, Goa in 2013. While recovering from her own injuries, she was attracted to Mahis therapeutic style of teaching and his keen eye for physical alignment. Amy is dedicated to the continuation of growth as a practitioner and teacher. In her classes, Amy encourages her students to maintain proper alignment and to listen to their bodys limitations; yoga is not the practice of being the most flexible person in the room. For Amy, the connection to self, breath and spirit the practice of yoga is a ceaseless journey.

"First of all, we learn discipline. We learn respect. We learn to obey others. Swallow your pride. Second of all we learn to do it correctly and detailed. Every part of your body is placed correctly, bone by bone - limb by limb - to get the right benefit, and the right flow of your blood and your prana out of the pose (asana). You will be pushed to your limits, but in the right way - the yogic way. Mahi also has a great vision of seeing your problems with your body and your mind. And he can give you the right tools to move on with your body and with your life. I am very happy I found Mahi and choose him to be my guide through the yogic path. You dont have to follow all the paths. Follow the ones that are close to your health. From the first yoga class I took with Mahi, I fell in love with it. I felt like this was what I have been looking for in a yoga teacher! It was 4 years ago and I am still coming back for more. Mahi has a wonderful way of teaching with amazing amount of knowledge and sensitivity. He has a way of getting you to places in your practice you have never been before. He is a great guide and an awesome guy. See you in the 2012 TTC course."

"I have been practicing yoga since a long time ago and I have been teaching yoga since three years ago. I did the 500 hours teacher training course with Mahi. It was an amazing experience for me. The practice and the friendship with Mahi was something that I am not going to forget in my life. He is very professional in all the topics that we were learning and every class was a different experience. We were practicing asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, meditation, mantras and more. We were teaching with him in his classes and we had the opportunity to teach alone also. He is creative, funny and serious at the same time. You can really enjoy with him. If I had to take the decision again, I would like to do it again with him. Thank you Mahi."

"There are so many great things to say about the TTC course that Mahi runs in Bhagsu. You learn pranayama, asana (correct position/function/benefits/history/mythology/adjustment), meditation, philosophy, anatomy, mantra, and the best thing about Mahis TTC yoga course is that he gives his students actual teaching experience, and the confidence to teach on their own. As for Mahi himself, he is a great teacher who views all his students as his children, and his knowledge of yoga is vast. He taught me so much both inside and outside the classroom. Thank you, Mahi. I hope to see you again."
