This is a 4-day Forrest Yoga Inspired Continuing Education for Teachers (CET).

How the training works

All sessions are live streamed via Zoom. You will have a total of 19 contact hours. Number of live hours per day:

  • Day 1: 4.5 hours
  • Day 2: 4.5 hours
  • Day 3: 6 hours
  • Day 4: 4 hours

Each person gets a 30-minute live Zoom 1-2-1 with either Szilvia or Charlie.

Timing of sessions / daily schedule

All live sessions will suit time zones of UK, Europe, and USA.

UK timing

  • Days 1 and 2: 3 - 7:30 p.m.
  • Day 3: 3 - 7 p.m. and 8:30 - 10:30 p.m.
  • Day 4: 3 - 7 p.m.

Europe timing

  • Days 1 and 2: 4 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Day 3: 4 - 8 p.m. and 8:30 - 11:30 p.m.
  • Day 4: 4 - 8 p.m.

USA timing

  • Days 1 and 2: 7 - 11:30 a.m.
  • Day 3: 7 - 11 a.m. and 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Course information

Who is this course for:

  • Yoga teachers who teach people with vulvas and vulva owners who are not teachers: This course is particularly great for teachers whose students have reached or are approaching menopause, who have experienced organ prolapse, incontinence, surgery that affects the pelvic floor (including hysterectomy and cesarean), and those who have a difficult relationship with feeling grounded or sensual.
  • Yoga practitioners who want to develop a stronger connection and understanding to their own pelvic floor: This course is especially great for those who want to feel grounded, sensual, and comfortable in their own power.

This course is a yoga practitioner’s 101 on the pelvic floor. You'll experience 4 morning asana practices that have been specifically designed to build your deep awareness and proper structural support of the pelvic floor. You'll learn powerful breathing techniques feel the healing asana for pelvic floor health and make connections in your body. You'll also experience Szilvia and Charlie’s beautiful approach to yoga ceremony.

Each afternoon is dedicated to learning more about the pelvic floor—how to maintain health and bring the pelvic floor back to health.

Sessions include:

  • Basic anatomy of the pelvic floor in relation to your whole body
  • Guidance on self-care through exploring your own anatomy
  • Yoga poses and hands on assists including modifications for optimal pelvic floor health
  • Yoga and self-bodywork for improving specific conditions such as, incontinence, prolapse, and the effects of menopause
  • Caring for the postpartum body
  • The emotional pelvis and working energetically for healing
