Multi-hued stone formations jut upwards from the high desert floor creating a vivid, mesmerizing setting that changes hourly with the light. When USA Weekend compiled their most beautiful places in America list, Sedona claimed the top spot. The visual drama of the landscape stirs something deep within everyone who visits or resides here. Sedona inspires and challenges, it thrills and mystifies, it haunts and energizes.
It moves you in ways that we struggle to understand. Come to Mother Nature’s red-rock temples to experience their life-transforming, soul-nourishing work in person. Sedona is a perfect place for spiritual and personal enrichment of the body and the soul.

While on this retreat, it’s important to fuel your body for the physical, mental, and spiritual journey that you will undertake. Even if you don’t exert yourself physically too much, you will be expanding different kinds of energies and that requires the right nourishment to help you on your way. LC Yoga is experienced at providing what your body needs for this journey and the chefs lovingly prepare every meal to energize and invigorate you each day.
LC Yoga will even help you to eat your food more healthily. See the mindful eating section below.
Each menu item in the buffet line is clearly labeled, allowing you to follow your own unique dietary needs.
While every attempt is made to cater for every individual on retreat, those who wish to bring supplemental foods to suit their specific needs are encouraged to do so. However, cooking in guest rooms is not allowed.
Food is a precious gift from Mother Earth. Bless the food with joy and gratitude before you eat. Take time for a prayer of gratitude to the Heaven for creating life, to the Earth for growing the food, and to humans for preparing it and keeping life flowing in you. Mindful eating will help you enjoy your food more, and digest it more healthily. When you eat, chew well with a peaceful mind, focus on taking in the blessed energy of the food as well as the nutrients, close your eyes (or look down your nose) and feel the chewing, chew over 30 times before you swallow.
As you swallow, sense the food entering your lower abdomen (the center of your body). As you eat and breathe, remember the energy of the Earth and of Heaven becoming integrated as one within you. Feel grateful for life and consider how to use your energy to repay the blessings of Heaven and Earth, and benefit the world and humanity.
