This training is for those who want to go a step further and be a yoga teacher or those who feel the desire to develop their knowledge and their personal practice. You will experience 22 days of yoga practice and theory classes as a whole to explore, study, share, understand and reach out for this resource you have inside of you to start teaching on your own the benefits of yoga.
The venue for this training is located directly on the beach. It consists of 12 ecological huts with a double bed or 2 single beds and a private bathroom. The accommodation is shared with a person of the same gender or is available in private occupation.
The venue’s facilities are: free WIFI, 24 hours security guard service, meditation center, large communal area. The yoga room for your classes is on site, as well as the restaurant that serves the vegetarian meals included in the price of your retreat. This allows greater comfort and total concentration on the intention for this month of training together while having the luxury to enjoy the beach during your free time.
21 intense days of classes and practice of yoga as a whole to explore, study, share, understand and seek out this resource that you have within you and teach in turn the benefits of yoga.
The goal is to show you how yoga can change your life and give you all the keys to become an attentive and inspiring teacher for your future students.
Beyond the purely physical aspect with the essential practice of asanas (postures) twice a day, the school places great importance on the theoretical part of yoga.
For this purpose, the philosophy of yoga will be taught to you as it was written thousands of years ago (Yoga Sutras), as well as anatomy, so that you have a better knowledge of the human body, its possibilities but also its sensitive areas to hold classes safely for your students.
You will study in detail pranayama (breathing techniques), essential to the practice and teaching of yoga. You will learn how to build a class as a whole during the methodology lessons and how to properly adjust and align your students to help them understand each posture without hurting themselves and go further if they are ready.
You will approach meditation and mantra singing for the more spiritual part of the training, allowing you to taste the joys of appeasement and connection to oneself that they provide and transmit it during your classes.
At the end of the training and after having successfully passed the end-of-cycle exams, you will obtain a diploma certified by Yoga Alliance, recognized worldwide.
IMPORTANT: This training is intense and requires real motivation. Whether it is to become a teacher or to enrich your practice and personal knowledge, it is imperative that you attend all classes and respect the teachers, the rules of the school and its schedules in order to be eligible for the teacher's diploma.
Yes of course you can! This training will be the ideal way to work on your flexibility and immerse yourself in Yoga, even if you have never done it. The teaching team supports you to allow you to progress and learn all the keys to teaching.
Yes, absolutely but you must inform Lotus Yoga when you register.
According to the rules of Yoga Alliance, you must attend ALL the courses of the training to be eligible for the diploma issued by the school.
At the end of the training and if you pass the exams successfully, the school will issue you a 200-hour yoga teacher certificate recognized by Yoga Alliance. This will allow you to teach anywhere in the world.
This schedule is from Monday to Friday. Saturday is a half-day, Sunday is a day off.

Three vegetarian meals will be served from Monday morning to Saturday morning. They are prepared on-site by a cook who knows how to combine the Indian flavors (tasty but not too spicy for the sensitive taste buds!) and a balanced diet to keep you in shape during your training.
Breakfast is served at 09:30 after the morning practice, lunch at 13:00 and dinner at 19:30. Meals are taken on the spot, so you don’t have to go anywhere.
You have the freedom to explore other restaurants in the surrounding area during your free time, from Saturday afternoon to Sunday evening included. The team will be happy to inform you about their favorite places, don't worry!
The yogic diet is a vegetarian diet only and is without alcohol. India is a mostly vegetarian country, so delicious options abound here, you will not be disappointed. It is strongly recommended to maintain this diet and don't smoke (or use drugs) during the training, even during your free time out of the school.
Please note that while the food served is clean and healthy, it is up to you to be careful about where and what you eat, as the stomach sometimes needs time to adapt to new food.

Please book your flight to arrive at Goa Dabolim Airport (GOI).
Subsequently, the journey from the airport to the training venue takes between 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes depending on the traffic.
If you have requested to book a taxi to pick you up from Goa Dabolim airport, it will take you to Arambol. If you arrive more than an hour late, an additional charge will be made. If you do not take this taxi booked and sent for you to the airport, you will still have to pay for it.
