Join this retreat designed for you to explore and be introduced to Tantra, Partner yoga, and compassionate communication. Explore ways to maintain, improve, and re-ignite connection, communication, and sexual intimacy. Experience techniques, exercises, and lots information drawing from the teachings of yoga, meditation, and tantra among others. This will be a weekend filled with explorations, play, and transformation in the way in which you view sexuality, partnership, and love.
During this retreat you will stay in a shared room. You will feel at home in Shanti’s spacious century inn and waterside cabins. The beautiful property has stunning views of the Saint Lawrence River and the sunsets from the waterfront patio are memorable. The inn’s timbered ceilings and wood stove provide a natural country charm. It is truly the perfect setting to curl up with a book, relax by the wood stove, and connect with kindred spirits.
You will enjoy the ambiance of peace and tranquility that the Asian decor and sacred spaces exude. The guest rooms are decorated in themes inspired by travels and connection with matters of the spirit. As a retreat center, they offer shared accommodation with either a water or garden view, all with private bathrooms.

During this retreat, you will experience various techniques, exercises, and a wealth of comprehensive information drawing from the teachings of yoga, meditation, Tantra, compassionate communication, modern sexology, Ayurveda, and your own relationship. This course will be comfy and applicable for both singles and couples and there will be absolutely no nudity or explicit exercises.
You will learn Partner yoga and the beauty of practicing, playing, and connecting as one on the mat. You will also learn a series of specific yoga asanas that will assist in the control, movement, and awareness of the potency of the sexual energy, as well as their healing potential for the reproductive organs.
You will explore meditation practices that will be focused on opening your heart to connection, pure love, and deep intimacy with yourself, your lover, and in your general relation to others.
This will be an introduction into specific breathing techniques that can offer the benefit of guiding the sexual energy to bring about states of deep peace, love, and presence.
You will learn about “ojas” (vigor and vital force), maintaining and replenishing sexual energy, simple aphrodisiacs and reproductive tonics, and dietary and lifestyle considerations.
This will be an exploration and an unlearning of some of the conditioning and limiting beliefs that most people hold around sexuality, relationships, and the sexes.
You will learn tools and practices for more pleasurable, sensual, prolonged, and orgasmic lovemaking for both men and women. You will also discuss the importance of the sexual energy for health and well-being, and the benefits of channeling and directing this energy.
You will learn ways to remember and maintain empathic, loving, and connected communication with your partner, how to deeply listen and honor your own needs and the needs of the other, and how to move forward without blame or shame from times of discord and disconnection.
Tiffany Nicholson-Smith is a radiant yogini, an Ayurvedic practitioner, and a lover of life, who is known for bringing her clarity, abundant energy, and aspiration for truth into everything she shares and offers. Tiffany has studied and retreated extensively with various teachers in India and around the world, immersing herself deeply into Tantric, Hatha, and Kundalini yoga, Advaita Vedanta, spiritual nutrition, Ayurveda, compassionate communication, and sacred sexuality.
Kristof Wittstock is a down-to-earth spirit, who is known for his clear dedication to truth and his humble heart. He has had the opportunity to study for the last 20 years with various teachers and schools, most situated in India, and steeped in the traditional, classical wisdom of Hatha, Laya, Kriya, and Kundalini yoga. Kristof also has a deep respect and love for Buddhism and has retreated extensively in the Theraveda tradition. His offerings are always infused with this revolutionary edge of Tantric yoga, meditation, and Buddhism.
This retreat will be held at Shanti Retreat in Wolfe Island, Canada. Wolfe Island located in Ontario is an amazing place of natural beauty. During the day, you will enjoy the country fresh air and commune with mother earth as you explore the island and during clear evenings, you can pause at the wonder of the country sky and stargaze.
The island is a paradise for cycling and running and there’s also the Big Sandy Bay, a beautiful secluded sand beach, only 15 minutes away. Shanti Retreat is set in a tranquil 11-acre property with its spacious century inn and cabins situated on 1000 feet of private shoreline.

During this retreat, you will be served three daily vegetarian meals. Journey into the world of vegetarian food with culinary delights that will leave you totally satisfied. All meals are prepared and served with mindfulness and are also a feast for your eyes and a delight to your taste buds.
Shanti Retreat strive to use locally grown Wolfe Island organic produce whenever possible and organic, shade grown, and dark roast coffee is served in the morning and a variety of herbal, green, and black teas are available throughout the day.
Your body and soul will be nourished with Shanti’s delicious and nutritious meals. Shanti Retreat can accommodate special dietary needs like vegan, gluten free, and minor food allergies on request. Major dietary restrictions or raw food diets can't be accommodated.
During your free time, you may choose to relax and detoxify in the infrared sauna, commune with mother earth and enjoy watching the wildlife that lives waterside, take a walk around the majesty of the maples, oaks, weeping willows, and extensive gardens that surround the retreat.
You may take a dip in the bay, bounce on the water tramp, or go for a paddle in a canoe or kayak. You can also hang out in a hammock, spend time under the Balinese hut, do a walking meditation in the local labyrinth, enjoy one of the many cyclist routes, or choose your favorite spot to retreat along this secluded shoreline.
The infrared sauna is an effective tool for natural healing and prevention. Its benefits include detoxification, relaxation, improved circulation, anti-aging effect, cell health, skin purification, weight loss, pain relief, and more. The price for one session is 15 CAD plus taxes.

Reiki is an ancient alternative healing technique based on the idea that an unseen life force energy flows into and through you at all times and is what sustains your life. The word “Reiki” is comprised of two Japanese words, “Rei”, which means “God’s wisdom” or “the higher power,” and “ki”, which means “life force energy.” Thus, reiki is a “spiritually guided life force energy.”
A Reiki treatment feels different every time, but can feel like a wonderful glowing radiance flowing through and around you. Reiki treats the whole being; the body, emotions, mind, and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation, feelings of peace, security, confidence, and all around well-being. The price for this treatment sessions are around 40 to 60 CAD and have a duration around 60 and 90 minutes.
This massage is an ancient and sacred system of healing with roots in yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, and Buddhist spiritual practice. The massage takes place fully clothed on a mat on the floor allowing the practitioner to use her palms, thumbs, elbows, and feet to apply pressure along the body’s energy lines and pressure points, and gently apply yoga stretches to the whole body. The price for this massage is 95 CAD plus taxes for 90 minutes.
The most economical way to reach Kingston is by bus. Bus lines offers service from Toronto’s downtown terminal at Bay and Dundas as well as from Scarborough, Whitby, Brockville, and Montreal.
From Toronto and Montreal it takes about three hours to reach the Wolfe Island ferry dock in downtown Kingston where the free ferry (Wolfe Island ferry) departs every hour.
Coming from Ottawa the drive is about two hours.
Americans from New York can conveniently reach Shanti by ferry from Cape Vincent, New York. This service operates approximately from mid-May to mid-October. Otherwise, the 1000 Islands International Bridge is nearby.
There is a shuttle service available from Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) and Water Town, New York, to Kingston and the Wolfe Island ferry terminal.
From the Kingston train station you may take a taxi to the Wolfe Island Ferry. The trip is about 15 minutes and it cost approximately 15 CAD.
