We tried two places at Bunaken. Living Colours Dive Resort fully lived up to their website. We (two families - all together 11 persons) had a great time here. Very good diving in the area - and always nice to get a Bintang after the dives. Unfortunately we didn't see any Dugongs.

I stayed 9 days in Living Colours in August. Diving in Bunaken is terrific and all dive sites are located near the dive resort. Diving boats are in good shape and big enough. Diving equipment are great quality. Diving in Bunaken National Marine Park is best Ive ever tried.Accommodation is good also. Nice bungalows with enough space and large balcony where you can set your hammock and get a couple of Bintang when watching a sunset after dives. Food is also great tasting and clean. You have many choices of food for every meal.Staff is friendly and very helpful. Cleaning service is working greatly. Dive masters/instructors are highly skilled. Living Colours Dive Resort is a little bit more expensive than the other accommodations but i still hardly recommend this. Unforgettable experience. Money well spent. Will come again someday!

This was my second time visiting the Living Colours and I had a blast again. Good food, friendly and helpful staff, terrific views from the bungalows, and most importantly really great diving.I did my Advanced Open Water while I was there. My instructor was very qualified and the group sizes were small (usually it was just the two of us). Dive sites were great; the amount of species you can see is just staggering. On top of that we went to have a deep dive in a old shipwreck, which was really cool. I rented all of my equipment from the dive center, which was top notch. Best diving experience I've ever had.Safety Stop bar at the beach is one of my favorite spots on the island, especially after diving. The villages of the Bunaken Island are a short walk away if you want to go see the local people. All in all, great vacation, great resort. I will come again.
