Live to Thrive have curated a perfect week for you that balances plenty of down time, fitness and wellness, outdoor adventures, cultural immersions, and daily healthy culinary delights so you don't have to worry about anything once you step off your plane. This is a trip created for you to truly relax and enjoy, and they've done their work to ensure you will have a magical experience from start to finish.
The villas are new and have a chic, cozy, and contemporary design so you can truly relax and unwind in comfort. Each villa has five bedrooms and six bathrooms that are stocked with fresh towels, lux toiletries, and blow dryers.
Four bedrooms have direct access to the second floor terrace where you can relax and enjoy the view of the ocean. The fifth bedroom located on the ground floor has access to the second floor terrace and the first floor patio where you have a beautiful view of the ocean as well.
The villas feature fully-stocked, modern kitchens, fireplaces, televisions, and comfy living room areas. Each villa has a private swimming pool with sun beds and comfy sofas, as well as a large barbecue areas where you will enjoy delicious dinners with stunning views over the cretan sea.
This retreat encompasses the entire property to ensure you have a peaceful and tranquil setting in which you can truly relax, connect with others, and be at one with yourself and nature.

Sara unrolled her mat for the first time at the age of 17 and since then her practice has never left her. She began as a curious student and naturally progressed with her studies. Her passion for yoga and its many facets is infinite! Over the years she has studied under many inspiring international teachers such as Meghan Currie, Chris Chavez, John Friend, Desi Springer, Tina Nance, and Elena Brower. She is a 500-Hour Hatha and Vinyasa teacher, and also fully certified in Yin Yoga and iRest Yoga Nidra and is also helping with consulting and management work at Radiant Yoga Marbella.
Your two luxurious private villas are conveniently located in western Crete, close to the islands most famous beaches and attractions. Within a 10-minute drive from the villas you can enjoy swimming in crystal clear water, (and even surfing!), at the famous beach of Falassarna. At this beach there are many restaurants, cafes, and beach bars to enjoy!
Walking distance from the house there are many traditional greek tavernas with delicious fresh food you can enjoy for lunch, as well as some local bakeries and convenience stores. If you want to enjoy the vibrant Greek nightlife, within 15 minutes you can access bars and nightclubs, as well as more shops and restaurants.
At this retreat you can expect amazing, fresh, healthy, and detoxifying meals that will leave you feeling energized and refreshed! All meals have gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian/vegan options, and are cooked with organic local produce.
Crete is known for having the best produce in all of Greece, so you can expect to eat some the tastiest food of your life!
Eat like a queen or king by enjoying healthy Greek-inspired dishes cooked daily by your private local chef! The breakfast spread will contain homemade nut butters with fresh local fruit, freshly scrambled eggs, apple cinnamon oatmeal, local greek and coconut yogurt, homemade granola, plant-protein smoothies, and more!
Dinner will contain local greek favorites such as roasted and stuffed eggplant, traditional greek salad with the best olive oil, lemon chicken soup, fresh caught seafood, and so much more. Is your mouth watering yet?

Please book your flight to arrive at Chania International Airport (CHQ) by Saturday, October 2nd. Included transfer from the airport to the villas is at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2nd from Chania Airport. If you would like to arrive at the house at a different time, Live to Thrive can arrange a private taxi for you at an additional cost.
Please arrange your outgoing flights at 2:30 p.m. or later on Saturday, October 9th to ensure you catch your flight on-time unless you're staying longer in Greece (which Live to Thrive highly recommend if you can!). The airport is a little over an hour from the house and participants will be checking out at 11 a.m.
Included departure transfer to the airport is at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 9th from the villas. If you have other plans, Live to Thrive can help you arrange private transportation at an additional cost.
If you’re coming from the U.S. they highly recommend flying out of a major airport hub such as New York, Boston, or Los Angeles on Thursday or Friday to arrive at the retreat on-time and to get the cheapest flights. The flight will average 13 to 18 hours so please arrange your schedule accordingly.
Ideally, Live to Thrive think the best way to get to Crete is to fly into Athens on Thursday or Friday, spend the day exploring Athens or get a hotel close to the airport, and take a plane on Saturday from Athens to Chania. Flights are a lot cheaper this way and you will be able to arrive to the Chania Airport in time for the included shuttle ride to the villas.
Check-in time at the villas is 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 2nd and checkout time on Saturday, October 9th is 11 a.m. unless specified otherwise.
