Strengthen your body and mind in daily traditional Mysore-style practice. The week begins on an auspicious day Wednesday with your Mysore-style class where you will be guided through the Ashtanga vinyasa primary series sequence catered to your level and ability. Intermediate level students are also welcome. You will continue the Mysore-style practice on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, practice a special class with kriya such as jala neti and a modified cleansing vinyasa sequence with the group. Monday is the lead class of Primary Series under the guidance of Kushal.

    The hostel is set in the heritage city of Mysore, the ruling seat of the erstwhile Mysore Kingdom. The property is a 100 year old mansion situated in the heart of the city, built in a mixture of Indian and British architectural style.

    Redone and modernized while still keeping in touch with its heritage roots, the property offers its guests a chance to dip their foot in a modern rendition of Mysore’s great heritage. Located in one of the most important roads in Mysore known for housing the elites and the ministers of the Mysore Kingdom, guests can get a feel of how the elite lived in its prime.

    Being in the heart of the city, the accommodation is within a two-kilmoter radius of all the important tourist spots, like the Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, and the Mysore Zoo.

    The foundation offers regular yoga classes, accommodation, a cafe, scooter and bicycle rental, massage, and more to make things easy for those who visit. You can stay on a package with all of your needs completely taken care to make life easy.


    Learn the foundations of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga, customized to you. Ashta means eight and anga means limbs. Ashtanga yoga is a scientific method compiled by K. Pattabi Jois, to reach enlightenment.

    Tristhana is the three pointed foundation the practice is built upon. These points are:

    • Pranayama – Ujjayi breath
    • Pratyahara – Bandhas
    • Dharana – Drishti

    Right and complete application of all these fundamental points leads the practitioner to Dharana or meditation.

    As everything in the universe, your body's also in a constant change and renewal process. The cells in your body emerge, get old and die and new cells take their places. When you start practicing, you will also start to teach the cells in your body, about the new opportunities and possibilities your body is gaining.

    The regeneration of all cells takes six months. Three months after the start of the practice, all cells in your body become new and trained cells. In six months, all cells in your body are trained from the beginning and became to be healthier.
