The Beara Coast Hotel offers its guests a luxurious and friendly stay. The hotel has been completely renovated in 2015 in order to promote more friendly and efficient service. At the Beara Coast, you will find luxurious guest bedrooms, many of which have balconies, stunning views of the town, and surrounding mountains.

All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, and aesthetic decoration using a contemporary theme. The hotel also offers many choices of dining experiences, Arches bar, Farraige restaurant, and the Berehaven suite.

Yoga is a practice of a series of slow movements that target and exercise every muscle in the body, leaving you with more awareness of how you are feeling, both physically and mentally. Every human body is different, therefore there is no perfect pose. Within the class, you will learn your own boundaries, and find out what may challenge you, what frustrates you and why, and in the end, discover your yoga.

Ashtanga yoga

This yoga style focuses on the breath through flowing postures, which enhances your core strength, balance, and flexibility. It also helps you to improve stamina, reduce stress, and boost energy levels. The emphasis is placed on developing correct breathing and learning principles of movement which protect and strengthen the body.

Relax and restoration yoga

This class focuses more on relaxation and restoration. As poses will be held for longer than with most yang style, it will help you to deepen your normal practice by enabling you to understand how to listen to your body, finding that point of resistance within, and overall extending your flexibility gradually.

On Saturday, you will take a ferry to Bere Island and hike to the lighthouse overlooking magnificent views of the Atlantic. There is also alternative shorter walks on the Island should you prefer to take.

    Linda is originally from Ireland and has travelled teaching yoga in countries such as New Zealand, Costa Rica, Austria, Portugal, and Spain. Always having a keen interest in health and well-being, Linda has over 10 years of experience in holistic therapy, nutritional therapy, neuromuscular and physical therapy, and Ashtanga yoga.

Castletownbere is a small but vibrant town nestled in the heart of the beautiful Beara Peninsula. The town which overlooks the spectacular Berehaven Harbour sits between the Caha and Slieve Miskish mountains. This place is also situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, a 2,500 kilometers tourism trail along the west coast of Ireland, where the land and sea collide and untamed beauty abounds.

During your free time, you may visit many tourist attractions close to The Beara Coast Hotel, including the stunning scenery of the Ring of Beara, the famous MacCarthy's bar in Castletownbere, Dursey Cable Car, Dursey island, Bere island, Allihies Coppermine museum, Mill Cove art gallery and sculpture gardens, and Sarah Walker gallery.
