You will stay at Hampton House nestled among the gum trees overlooking the Pittwater. The house has three floors. Downstairs are four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms. The middle floor has a spacious living room, dining room, and entertaining deck where everybody gets together. The third floor offers additional queen-sized and lovely mezzanine loft bedrooms with ladder access and steps from the retreat give easy access to the beach.

The house offers an inspirational holiday-haven retreat. There is a cosy lounge area with a large open fire for the cooler months and lots of sunny decks to sit and enjoy the view. Upstairs is another living area overlooking the water this is the quiet area of the house for those seeking peace and quiet. The indoor yoga studio looks out onto lush vegetation and sparkling water.

Start your day with the gentle morning yoga class breathing the fresh sea air and looking out over the trees and water.

The restorative class uses blankets and pillows to support your body and allow you to relax deeply in body and mind. If you haven’t been to one of these classes before you have been missing out!

  • Julie Ivison

    Julie Ivison, a yoga teacher on the Central Coast, is a diploma in herbal medicine. She has been practicing yoga and meditation for more than 12 years and has gradually been changing her life. Julie has a certificate of 200-hour teacher training from Byron Yoga Center and she has been teaching for two years on the Central Coast at a lovely community Hall In Empire Bay.

National Park surrounds the retreat which is 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Sydney. The retreat is nestled in the hillside overlooking the water that gives easy access to the beach.

During your free time, you may borrow a canoe or a bicycle at the hotel to stroll around the beach. You can watch the fishing boats, laze in the hammock, or catch a ferry down the river to reach the Palm Beach. Nearby there is a possibility of beach and bush walking. Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD). You can pick either a taxi or a local bus to get to the retreat location.

Arrival by bus

You can catch the local bus from Woy Woy train station to Patonga. The bus which comes about every 40 minutes will arrive at Patonga after about 30 minutes.

Arrival by ferry

You can catch the ferry available at 11:00 from Palm Beach, Sydney to Patonga. The ferry will return to Sydney from Patonga at 15:00.

Arrival by taxi

You can ride a taxi from Woy Woy Station, Central Coast to Patonga. To reach Woy Woy Station, you may catch a direct train from Central Railway Station, Sydney. The journey takes about one hour and 40 minutes to finally arrive at Patonga.
