How to get there

Arrival by airplane

International travel is arranged by each participant from their home airport to SJO - San Jose International Airport. From there, Blue Osa will help you coordinate your domestic flight through Sansa airlines to Puerto Jimenez airport.

International and domestic airfare - Flights are booked from your city to San Jose International Airport (SJO - Make sure you don’t book San Jose, CA like me!). From San Jose, you will catch a small plane to Puerto Jimenez (~40-minute flight) via the domestic terminal - a short walk to the left once you exit the main international terminal at the San Jose international airport.

A shuttle service will pick you up from Puerto Jimenez airport and drop you off at Blue Osa (8 miles South of the airport). Once you book your international flight, we will put you in touch with Blue Osa to book your domestic flight to Puerto Jimenez and your shuttle to/from Blue Osa. More than likely, you will be traveling with other retreat guests!

When arriving in San Jose, you will exit the international airport and take a left. Follow the sidewalk to the domestic airport where you will catch your flight from Sansa to Puerto Jimenez. This flight is a small 12-seater plane and it is a 45-minute flight and the views are amazing.

Airport: Juan Santamaría International Airport Airport transfer available:Juan Santamaría International Airport (US$ 299 per person) Additional charges may apply. You can request this in the next step.
Airport: Puerto Jiménez Airport Airport transfer included: Puerto Jiménez Airport No additional charges. You can request this in the next step.
