Lauren Pinnoy Yoga invites you to join her one-of-a-kind retreat in the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal midlands. Enjoy Hatha yoga and enchanted forest walks. Immerse yourself in the beautiful setting of the midlands and its serenity. Apart from cozy accommodation, delicious vegetarian meals will be provided. Get lost in a fairytale and reconnect with yourself!
All ages are welcome as participants.
You will be staying in a shared accommodation in the main house or cottages. Two people will be sharing a room. The rooms are large and have an en-suite bathroom with beautiful views and grounds. Single room supplement are also availabe in this retreat.
This retreat will take place in Midlands meander, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
Experience a yoga retreat in the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal midlands. Just an hour drive from Durban, this mystical meander has so much to offer to its visitors! They have amazing restaurants, historic landmarks, wildlife conservation as well as unique arts and crafts.
The retreat will be held on the most magnificent farm, with its rare, indigenous mist belt forest allowing time to get lost in a fairy tale. Get unplug and find a way to reconnect with your true self in this retreat.
Take the N3 to Pietermaritzburg / Johannesburg.
Pass Pietermaritzburg and the Midmar Dam further along.
Take the 3rd Howick turn-off (Howick / Tweedie).
At the offramp turn left, and at the T-junction turn right onto the R103 in the direction of Nottingham Road.
About 3 kilometres after the Nelson Mandela Monument, turn left on the Dargle / Impendle Road.
Lemonwood is 10 kilometres along this tarred road on the right hand side.
Take the N3 to Durban.
Take the Howick North/Tweedie off-ramp.
At the offramp turn right back over the highway and at the T-Junction turn right onto the R103 in the direction of Nottingham Road.
Shortly after the Nelson Mandela Monument, turn left on the Dargle / Impendle Road.
Lemonwood is 10 kilometres along this tarred road on the right-hand side.
Maximum 16 persons.
Sometimes it can get chilly at the midlands so bring warm clothes. It is recommended to bring comfortable clothes for yoga, hiking / walking shoes or wellies.
Animal’s are welcome in this retreat.

This retreat includes two walk / hike in the indigenous forest.
Her classes are playful and powerful with the focus on leading with the breath to help deepen your practice together with all of your senses. She encourages growth of the physical and spiritual self. She allows the students to remain true in respecting their own body and try and make every practice as their own journey from within.
Take time to pamper yourself with rejuvenating spa treatments.

There is so much to do and explore on lemonwood itself. You can go for a walk or a hike at the mystical forests to seek some serenity by yourself.
You can also wander around and visit the restaurants, shops, arts, and crafts, see the wildlife, or go for a scenic drive.
Fishing and riding are also available as well as golf courses. You can also enjoy the ‘extreme sport’ of the Karkloof Canopy Tour, horseplay, walking, cycling, sailing, canoeing, wine tasting, candle dipping, ceramic painting, explore the wedding venues, and much more.
You also can visit the Midmar Resort and nature reserve as well as Umgeni Valley Nature Reserve that is just 15 minutes away.
The battlefield area is also accessible for day trips or more extensive overnight stays. Lauren Pinnoy Yoga can put you in touch with tour operators if you want. Day trips to the world famous Drakensberg are also available.
