Set the tone for a lifetime of love with a romantic Grenada honeymoon at Laluna Resort and Villa Estate. Planning a wedding can be tiring and the big day is such a blur that while you will find yourself happier than you have ever been, you will probably also be more exhausted than you have ever been. The honeymoon is your first chance as a married couple to escape everyone and everything, relax, and focus solely on each other.
These romantic, semi-detached cottages perfectly marry seclusion and ease-of-accessibility. The Caribbean chic cottage suites feature a breezy, open-plan design with a generously sized and tastefully appointed bedroom. After a day spent at the beach and exploring Grenada, you will love relaxing on the comfortable king-sized Balinese four-poster bed with crisp Italian linens. French doors open onto a private veranda with a Balinese day bed, carved wooden furniture, and private plunge pool.
Laluna’s Cottage suites are tucked away on the upper hillside of the property which offers guests the most dramatic view of the Caribbean Sea. While the suites are mere 60 steps from the beach and main house, you’ll feel like you have another world all to yourself during your stay.
A guest-favorite feature of Laluna’s cottages are the unique open air bathrooms. Closed enough for full privacy while also allowing for a gentle breeze and amazing views, the bathrooms combine the best indoor and outdoor elements. The time will slip by as you enjoy a relaxing shower with a Caribbean Sea view in the partially open stall. Laluna’s line of Hortus Francis Italian bath products, which are exclusively made in a monastery in the Italian Alps, complete the experience.
Grenada, known as the Spice Isle for its natural exports including nutmeg and cinnamon, is by far the largest of the three islands of the Grenadines with a width of 12 miles (18 kilometers) and a length of 21 miles (34 kilometers). The interior of its 133 square miles (440 square kilometers) is made up of mountainous, volcanic terrain that reaches heights of over 2,750 feet atop Mount Saint Catherine.
This topography provides Grenada with one of the loveliest and most varied environments in the Caribbean which includes crater lakes, waterfalls, rainforests, and a startling variety of plant and animal life. Forests shift to mangrove at the coast which gives way to stunning white sand beaches, brilliant blue water, and exquisite coral reefs. To the east of Grenada lies the Caribbean Sea and to the west lies the Atlantic Ocean.
During your honeymoon, you will be pampered by one spa treatment per person of your and your partner's choice and an intimate and relaxing Balinese couples' massage. A-la-carte American breakfast and dinner will be served daily.
You can connect with each other by doing daily yoga or meditation sessions and a spiritual walk / hike in the rain forest with a swim at a waterfall. A gift to celebrate your new life together from Laluna Resort and Villa Estate also awaits you here.
Spend the days together lounging by the pool with a tropical drink in hand and dreaming about the future; at night, pop a bottle of Prosecco and watch the sun set over the sea while sharing favorite wedding memories. Listen closely and you will hear the tree frogs begin to chirp.
Please arrive at Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND). Laluna Resort and Villa Estate offers airport transfer at an additional cost. The cost is 39 USD one way with a maximum of two persons. You can also take a taxi to transfer you from the airport to Laluna Resort and Villa Estate for 10 minutes and the fare costs approximately 20 USD.
Grenada’s weather is lovely all year round. Tempered by the steady and cooling trade winds, the average temperature ranges from 24 degrees Celsius / 75 degrees Fahrenheit to 30 degrees Celsius / 87 degrees Fahrenheit. The lowest temperatures occur between November and February. Because of Grenada's remarkable topography, the island also experiences climate changes according to altitude. At Laluna Resort and Villa Estate, for instance, it will be much warmer than at Grand Etang National Forest. Like much of the Caribbean, the driest season is between January and May. Even during the rainy season, from June to December, it rarely rains for more than an hour at a time and generally does not do so every day.
Grenada’s power is 220 volts and 50 cycles. Laluna Resort and Villa Estate’s front office offers adapters and converters if required.
All citizens of the United States, Canada, and Mexico are required to have a passport to enter Grenada. No visa is required. The same is true for travelers coming from most international destinations. Visit grenada.visahq.co.uk to check on the Grenada visa requirements for your country of origin.
The Eastern Caribbean Dollar (XCD) is the local currency in Grenada. USD is accepted by most vendors in Grenada, but it is highly recommended that you exchange your currency to XCD for local purchases. This can be done at the Laluna Resort and Villa Estate’s front office. 1 USD equals approximately 2.6 XCD

"If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, and romantic getaway, look no further. The hotel consists of 16 romantic secluded chalet bungalows complete with individual splash pools, hugging the steep mountainside above the main bar and restaurant complex, on a sandy beach in a private bay. The staff are warm and friendly. They work hard to keep you pampered and content. Glorious sunsets, rum punch beside the pool, and great food complete the experience."

"The Caribbean resort with a Balinese theme and an Italian restaurant is an amazing retreat. My wife and I were looking for a low key hotel with great food and drinks and that's exactly what we got. Our cottage overlooked the beach and offered amazing views of the nightly sunset. The staff were great. The food offered Italian options like pasta but with Caribbean twists and that rum punch. The beach was secluded and the water was in perfect color. Laluna Resort and Villa Estate is quiet as I feel most of the island is. Both offer a great sanctuary to relax. Take a kayak to one of the beach bars around the bend. Walk down the beach to the beach house for a lovely sunset dinner or jump in a cab to any other island offerings. Laluna Resort and Villa Estate was awesome, beautiful, romantic, and scrumptious."
