    A life coach and wellness speaker, Tracey Delfs has been leading mindfulness meditation and yoga retreats and classes since she became a certified yoga teacher in 2000. Tracey has been studying with world-renowned Zen and mindfulness master Thich Nhat Hanh for the last 15 years and shares his teachings in her mindfulness meditation classes, presentations, and retreats.

This yoga retreat will take place at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. Surrounded by soaring mountain peaks, the majestic Victoria Glacier, and a glistening emerald lake, the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel is located in Alberta's Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Driving directions from Calgary International Airport (YYC) through Calgary

  • Take airport exit road to the first set of lights.
  • Turn left at first set of lights (Barlow Trail).
  • Turn left at next set of lights (Airport Road).
  • Follow signs onto Deerfoot Trail / Highway 2 South.
  • Take Deerfoot Trail / Highway 2 South to 16th Avenue / Trans-Canada Highway 1. You will exit from the right onto this exit ramp. 16th Avenue becomes Trans-Canada Highway 1, which takes you straight through to Banff National Park (this is a 45 - 60 minutes drive). Once you arrive at the Banff National Park gates, you will be required to pay a fee.
  • Continue to follow the signs for the hamlet of Lake Louise, continuing on the Trans-Canada Highway
  • Take a right turn off marked for Lake Louise, 40 minutes past the town of Banff.
  • Turn left at the top of that road, proceed through 2 stops signs, and continue straight on this road up hill (4 kilometers, 2.4 miles). This will take you directly to the front doors of the hotel. The trip will take about 2.5 hours from Calgary, weather dependant. Calgary is 183 kilometers from Lake Louise.

Driving directions from Calgary International Airport (YYC) through alternate route around Calgary

  • Take airport exit road to the first set of lights.
  • Turn left at first set of lights (Barlow Trail).
  • Turn left at next set of lights (Airport Road).
  • Follow signs onto Deerfoot Trail / Highway 2 North.
  • Follow Deerfoot Trail / Highway 2 North to the exit ramp onto Stoney Trail West, following Stoney Trail until it intersects with the exit ramp on your right for the Trans-Canada Highway 1 / 16th Avenue West to Banff. 16th Avenue becomes Trans-Canada Highway 1, which takes you straight through to Banff National Park (this is a 45 - 60 minutes' drive). Once you arrive at the Banff National Park gates, you will be required to pay a fee.
  • Continue to follow the signs for the hamlet of Lake Louise, continuing on the Trans-Canada Highway.
  • Take a right turn off marked for Lake Louise 40 minutes past the Town of Banff.
  • Turn left at the top of that road, proceed through 2 stops signs, and continue straight on this road up hill (4 kilometers, 2.4 miles). This will take you directly to the front doors of the hotel.

Driving directions from the East

  • Take Trans-Canada Highway 1 West (also signed as 16th Avenue North heading West). Once you arrive at the Banff National Park gates, you will be required to pay a fee.
  • Follow the signs for the hamlet of Lake Louise in Banff National Park.
  • Take the Lake Louise exit then turn left at the intersection.
  • Proceed through 2 stop signs and continue on this road (4 kilometers, 2.4 miles). This will take you directly to the front doors of the hotel.

Driving directions from the West

  • Take Trans-Canada Highway 1 East (via Revelstoke, Golden, approximately two hours) until you pass the border into Alberta which becomes Banff National Park.
  • Follow the signs for the hamlet of Lake Louise in Banff National Park.
  • Exit on the right, proceed through 2 stop signs, and continue straight up hill on this road (4 kilometers, 2.4 miles). This will take you directly to the front doors of the hotel.

Driving directions from the North

  • Take Highway 2 South to Calgary (via Red Deer).
  • Take Trans-Canada Highway 1 West (also signed as 16th Avenue North heading West). Once you arrive at the Banff National Park gates you will be required to pay a fee.
  • Follow the signs for the hamlet of Lake Louise in Banff National Park.
  • Take the Lake Louise exit then turn left at the intersection.
  • Proceed through 2 stop signs and continue on this road (4 kilometers, 2.4 miles). This will take you directly to the front doors of the hotel.

Driving directions from the South (Montana)

  • Take Highway 93 North (via Radium) to Castle Junction and then go west (turn left).
  • Follow the signs for the hamlet of Lake Louise in Banff National Park.
  • Take the Lake Louise exit then turn left at the intersection.
  • Proceed through 2 stop signs and continue on this road up hill (4 kilometers, 2.4 miles). This will take you directly to the front doors of the hotel.
  • A reservation requires a deposit of 100% of the total price.
