"Retreat for my daughter's 21st birthday "

The location for the yoga was amazing! A beautiful yurt, on a hillside, in a forest, complete with wood burner and all the props you need.

Sarah is really easy to get on with and has a wonderful way of sharing yoga specific to the people there. Even my daughter who normally won't talk to many people was happy to chat with her about all things deep and meaningful!

Tha shepherds hut was very cute and well kitted out, located in a beautiful area, and real excuse to get back to basics.

Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah who made sure we felt safe and at ease throughout the retreat.

There's plenty to do in afternoons and evenings if you want to, or you could just hang out in the beautiful location of the hut.

"First yoga experience "

This was my first yoga experience and I have to admit I was nervous and feeling very self conscious when I arrived. My fellow guests on the retreat were friendly, non-judgemental and accepting. Sarah, our teacher was absolutely brilliant. Despite us being a mixed experience group she gave us all the attention, encouragement and support we needed. The shepherds hut accommodation provided by Sarah was fabulous. Warm from the wood burner, cozy with the tea lights. Comfortable, exceptionally clean with a lovely breakfast/snack basket. Toilets and showers were a little walk away but clean and warm.

The local pub provides a warm and friendly atmosphere with great pub grub. Ambleside and Grasmere easy distance for eating and shopping if desired. The environment for practising the yoga was out of this world. A yurt set in a secluded woodland a little way up the fell. The walk up to the yurt was initially a little daunting but we stayed together as a group and took it steadily so no-one felt rushed or left behind. Would I attend a retreat here again? In a heartbeat. A truly great experience.
