During this training program, you will be staying at two different accommodation from ShantiOm Retreat Center, Costa Rica. This beautiful center includes accommodation at their two diverse and stunning locations, the more rustic style is Om Nature Reserve and the other one is Shanti Villa. You will be spending one week in the rainforest at Om Nature Reserve and another two weeks at the beach in Shanti Villa.

The accommodation is available on a single and double occupancy basis, along with individual, queen, or king-size beds. Each room comes with new linens and towels. Moreover, housekeeping service for the rooms and laundry service for the linens are included. Also, the laundry service for personal clothing is offered once per week. Both locations have several tranquil areas on site, as well as miles of jungle and beach trails for the students to hike, practice, and enjoy their meditations.

Om Nature Reserve

It is located at the central Pacific of Costa Rica, on a stunning 400-acre remote cloud forest and sits at around 8,000 feet above sea level. You will be literally in the clouds surrounded by a rainforest overrun by wild orchids, exotic moss, and succulents that grow everywhere. Om Nature Reserve was developed to preserve and reforest the primary forest that inhabits much of the area. It is also home to numerous species of birds, mammals, insects, and flora. You will feel as if you are a guest of mother earth resting in her home.

From here, you will be immersed in the forest with 360-degree views of the cloud forest. As evening approaches, the skies begin to clear and you will be surrounded by the magnificent stars above and the twinkling city lights below. At the Om Nature Reserve, the yoga studio is a gorgeous octagon with six of the eight walls being full-length windows. It has a wooden floor and is nestled into the mountains and rainforest.

Shanti Villa

It is a luxurious beachfront villa located on the world class black sand beaches of Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. They are a simple yet elegant two-story Spanish colonial beach villa that allows your spirit the opportunity to be free. Your days can be filled with yoga, surfing, paddle boarding, or just drifting away as you read by the courtyard pool. You will find the Shanti Villa just steps away from the sand and waves.

There is nothing but the beach that separates you from the water. Playa Hermosa is a sleepy surf town with several quaint restaurants and a surf competition every Saturday evening. Wake up to the songs of the Scarlett macaws that inhabit the surrounding almond trees and fall asleep to the crashing waves of the Pacific.

At the Shanti Villa beachfront location, you will be practicing on a stone yoga deck. Literally in front of the beach looking out to the Pacific ocean and up to the Macaws and Toucans flying overhead. All yoga mats, blocks, yoga belts, and cushions for the students are provided. Both morning and evening yoga classes can be enjoyed on the beach, in the grassy garden, or on their lookout deck. The possibilities are endless.
