Yoga Retreats (2)
Valerie's natural curiosity for life and passion for self-development has brought her to a journey that started 19 years ago when she actively chose to go deeper into the study of the human psyche taking her undergraduate studies in psychology. From there her interest grew far and wide, diving into different alternative healing therapies from kalimasada, qui gong, meditation, reiki, yoga etcetera. Now with deeper and wider sensitivities she is a 200 hour certifed yoga teacher and WSF/Raid Freedive instructor with a simple intention to bring you to your own personal experience of the divine.

"Yoga was very good, but there was no retreat"
I had four yoga sessions, twice with Valerie (private yoga sessions) and two yoga sessions with Lady. Both yoga instructors were excellent. I am practicing yoga for many years.

"Great people and atmosphere "
I loved my stayed here with the team at Kurma, it felt like a family. The menu is a refreshing change from the other places in the Philippines with good veggies and even a couple of vegan options! Great for sunsets too!

"If you want to relax, and enjoy life this is the place🙌"
This place is just perfect.
The vibe, and how the people and the place makes you feel like you are at you’re second home and part of a family just makes you don’t want to leave. The food is really good, it’s made with love and local ingredients. If you have a request, just ask the staff and they will help you either there is to rent a bike, have massage in the room, laundry, repair a backpack or taking a kayak to the white Island. They also have freediving, and that is really and experience of a lifetime. I was supposed to stay 5days, ended up staying 2weeks. And I’m going back next month🙌 For me this is Paradise on earth.

"Inspiring teachers, amazing food and good atmosphere "
I had an amazing time at Kurma. There was such a good atmosphere at the place, and a good vibe with the teachers and the staff. The food was absolutely amazing, and made me wanting to stay an extra month to be able to try everything on the menu. (I was not able to though). I enjoyed the yoga classes and where inspired to go for the freediving next time I come. The volcanic islands is beautiful, and I would recommend to hire a scooter and go explore the space. I can highly recommend this place for all it offers! I will be back ;)

"Breaking Out in Kurma Eco Lodge"
If you need to break out, get out of the stress of your everyday life, refocus on yourself, heal and relax gently... This is the place to go!
There is nothing comparable to the warm atmosphere of this place that makes you feel like at home while plenty of activities are available besides the daily yoga class. The yoga practice is mainly focused on commuting with ourselves, relieving tensions and deep breathing. It is not about performance and pushing hard the body, so it is perfect to re-work on the yoga basis and grow up from that. It is finally exactly what I needed.

"Hard genoten van de yoga. Veelal op maat."
Het eten was fantastisch. Gezond, bijzonder en zeer lekker. Het duikcentrum Black Beach Divers was ook zeer goed. Heerlijke uitstap naar Mantigue Island. De yoga was telkens zeer goed en een prima start van de dag.
