This yoga retreat venue is housed in two beautiful barns and a traditional farmhouse. The heating is from renewable biomass and drinking water is from the farm's own pure spring source. The barns surround the old farmyard, now a lovely space with gardens, a stream, and an outdoor dining area. There is also a gym and a Finnish sauna. In the fields below, the barns there is a swimming and boating pond, plus a campfire area with log seating.
The venue is set on 200 acres of farmland with extensive views and plenty of walks in the hills and valleys right from the doorstep and the beautiful Llyn Clywedog reservoir is just a short drive away. The comfortable accommodation is finished to a very high standard. The yoga room is large, airy, and spacious. It has a wooden floor and like the rest of the accommodation benefits from warm underfloor heating, fired by the eco biomass boiler. Wood-burning stoves also ensure the barns are always super cozy all year round.
On this weekend retreat, you will use Kundalini yoga and fasting protocols to open the channels of elimination, remove toxicity, and support the body's natural ability to heal and flourish. Your body has an amazing ability to thrive given the right conditions and nutrients, a juice detox takes the pressure off and allows real healing to take place. The benefits of a detox are far-reaching and can even result in health issues dissipating. Regardless of your health goals, the result of achieving optimum health and improving energy is a great reason to undertake a cleanse.
Kundalini yoga supports detoxification in the body and you feel the positive rejuvenating effects fast. It is a healing and transformational practice - blending movement, meditation, mantra, and breath (pranayama). Kundalini Yoga is for everybody regardless of their age or physical ability - you do not have to be particularly flexible or fit. It is a perfect form of yoga for beginners yoga right through to the more advanced.

As a Kundalini yoga teacher and Nidra facilitator, her life purpose is to help others find healing and balance by connecting to the peace and light within themselves. Her offerings focus on the integration of mind, body, and spirit, allowing students to work at their own pace.
Lucy Teear is a certified plant-based nutritionist and Tolman health coach, detoxification specialist, and Kundalini yoga teacher. Lucy has first-hand experience of the power of the body to heal, having been diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer in 2010 and again in 2016 which had metastasized, this was her wake-up call for radical change.
