Yoga is for everybody, and each body has a unique relationship to the practice. Women's bodies especially are in constant cycles of change. Kula Collective invites you to come and join this amazing course to get benefits from yoga!
Seven Springs Holistic Retreats has the vision to provide a place of natural abundance and cultural diversity where people learn how to create holistic sustenance for themselves and their communities. Their mission is to provide an innovative and transformative space for local and global communities to experience high-quality holistic education. There are a variety of accommodation options included so you can choose the one that best suits you. You can stay in shared yurts that were built with sustainable living in mind, a private fully furnished bus, or you can bring your own tent and camp.
Off-site accommodation is also available. They are not able to accommodate a quarantine space at Seven Springs. They can assist with students getting tested at a local center for free, but if the test is positive, then the student would need to return to their home or another place or hotel for quarantine. The center is outdoors and very spacious. Additionally, they only have a chef and cleaner as staff. There is plenty of room to distance and for staff to quarantine as they choose. All staff has been vaccinated or will be tested before entering the site.
The course/hours count as Continuing Education hours for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®) only.
By first becoming aware of your physical and emotional state of being, you can then begin to explore what practices may complement your needs. Learning how to practice yoga in ways that most benefit the body at that moment can help bring a deeper connection to yoga and yourself. This continuing education intensive is especially devoted to exploring postures, sequences, and essential information for women of all ages in the practice of yoga.
You will first look at the physical and emotional anatomy of women and then move into yoga as a remedy for menstrual problems, pregnancy, depression, menopause symptoms, and more. You will work through postures with a special emphasis on modifications and using props. This course is applicable for anyone who would like to deepen their own practice as well as teach to others.
In addition to yoga asana, you will also explore Ayurvedic and natural remedies such as herbal medicines, salves, and tinctures. By connecting with your cycles, you will explore what types of activities, foods, and movements are best for you at the moment. You are not able to heal or prevent illness or injury with yoga alone, and so you dive into full lifestyle changes that can benefit each of you individually and uniquely. You will leave this course with clear steps to enhance your health and life in a holistic way.
Dive deep into connecting with your body and learn how to use yoga to benefit other bodies as well as eat, sleep, and breath your yoga.
