CONS Cons: I personally would have liked to see longer yoga sessions may be 75-90 minutes, specially on Friday and Sunday.

PROS Pros: Firstly, the yoga teacher, Richard is a seasoned teacher with wide background in different styles. He was able to tailor the class to different levels in the class quite effectively with something for everyone, and able to effectively meld different hatha yoga styles (elements of shadow, partner, and others) effectively with introductory dose of pranayama and meditation. Accommodations much better than you would expect at a normal yoga retreat. It is really a large, tastefully decorated house in a bucolic setting. Food was simple, fresh, organic, tasty, and healthy. The small coterie of farm animals with personalities complemented the experience. Overall a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend at a great location. Interesting and great dinner table conversations with Richard and fellow yogis. I would highly recommend for small groups.

"My family and I chose Arroyo Grande as a stopover between three days in Yosemite and three days in San Francisco. We couldn't have chosen a better place. The home is as pictured. The inside is quite beautiful. Every room on the first floor is large and modern. The pool table or game room at the back of the house provided us hours of fun for my family and the friends that lived close by. The kitchen is very modern and the adjoining dining and family rooms are large and open. We had loved the layout. My children adored the animals and Peri who allowed them to help her when it came time to feeding them. All three upstairs bedrooms are nicely decorated and large. The master bedroom bathroom suite is breathtaking, which is a problem because my wife now wants one just like it. Both Peri and Jeff were the perfect hosts. Down to earth and friendly. By the time we left they felt like long time friends. My family enjoyed their time there and we look forward to a return visit soon."

"My wife and I wanted to find a home that could accommodate four families for a family reunion. Half were from Southern California and the other half were from Northern California. Arroyo Grande was the perfect spot that's halfway between the two. The house is tidy, roomy, and can host lots of people. There's room to spread out and cook big family style meals. The kitchen has everything you need and there is a nice BBQ in the back. The rear yard is quite big and the sunsets are spectacular. The home is close to Pismo Beach and relatively close to San Luis Obisbo. But the best part of our stay was our hosts. Peri and Jeff, the owners, are wonderful people who really capture the mellow central coast Californian feeling. They invite you to participate in the daily feeding of the animals. My girls loved the experience. I highly recommend this place. This is way better than staying at a hotel."

"A great stop for our venture up the coast. This home was very spacious with two other families. A great treat for our kids was being able to interact and feed the animals. They just loved Cici. Peri and Jeff were terrific hosts and were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit. Absolutely beautiful home and looking forward to future returns! Thank you, Peri and Jeff."
