Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

About the course

The time during the intensive training will be grounded in meditation and applying the philosophy and practice of yoga to your daily life. Each student will have the opportunity to practice teaching small groups. This transformative 15-day intensive will open doors of perception and catalyze shifts in the way you relate to yourself, each other, and your yoga practice.

Preparing

The most important thing you can do to prepare for this intensive is to cultivate your personal yoga practice. You will need to spend time on your mat. Just spread out your mat and explore what feels good in your body. Set aside 15 minutes every day for the practice of yoga.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Getting to the Yucca Valley is half of the adventure. The drive from Palm Springs is LOVELY. For those that have extra time before the start up, Kootenay Yoga School suggests enjoying the hot springs along the way!

Students will need to arrive to the property independently. Kootenay Yoga School will create a communication group through Whatsapp about 15 days before your continuing education program. In this group, students can pool resources and plan to share rides via Uber or private car!

  • 1.Fly to Palm Springs Airport
  • 2. Plan to land by 3:30pm to be able to arrive to site between 5-6pm
  • 3.Shuttle, taxi, ride share or Uber to 2848 Sage Ave, Yucca Valley, CA.
  • 4.The team will be there to greet you between 5-6pm

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
