Retreat location

Only one hour’s drive from Cusco City and Airport and around two hours travel from the world’s renowned archaeological site, Machu Picchu. Easy to reach beautiful sightseeing spots like Maras and Moray, Chincheros, Pisac, and Ollantaytambo. Kinsapacha Eco Lodge & Yoga Center is an experience for families, couples, groups, and travelers. The concept revolves around Sustainability and Green & Conscious Living.

They aim to attract open-minded travelers who are seeking an alternative to the regular tourist track. The mountains hold a special energy that inspires creative play in yoga and getting one’s fingers green in the vegetable garden. They also offer a sacred space for workshops and retreats with suitable facilities available. If you enjoy hiking, star gazing, bird watching, wholesome food, and philosophical conversations around the bonfire this is the place for you. If you prefer fancy up-market facilities, partying all night long, and complaining about spiders, then it is not.

This Yoga Retreat is vegetarian-friendly

Things to do (optional)

The property is located a short 20-minute walk to the bus terminal. You can take a mini-bus to go to Calca, Pisac, or Cusco for the day. Explore the cathedrals, temples, and ruins.

Go shopping in one of the hundreds of little local shops and buy some of the most beautiful textiles in the world. Go to the local market and drink freshly pressed fruit or vegetables juices from one of the juice ladies. Pay only 5 soles for a huge mug, enough for two people to share. But trust Kinsapacha, you will not want to share it!

Relax in the huge garden, take a walk, read a book or watch the birds. Go for a short hike in the mountains close-by, experience the silence at the very top of the hills. Help Kinsapacha out in the vegetable garden, if gardening is your thing. Otherwise, it is also just pretty to look at, and to realize where your food is coming from.
