She is registered with the International Yoga Alliance and also completed a 5-month intensive work-study exchange in Ayurveda yoga therapy with Janesh Vaidya in Kerala, India, in 2016.

"Excellent place to do yoga and relax"
Kinsapacha is a really beautiful oasis in Urubamba. Ilsa and Jorge are really lovely and friendly - and so are the animals Tupac, Laya and Tigre! The yoga is excellent, the food unbelievable and the rooms wonderful. I highly recommend this as a place to relax and integrate.

"Old white guy with a dodgy back who.loves meat!"
Hi I'm an old white military guy with a dodgy back who loves meat, so visiting Kinsapacha was me definitely leaving my comfort zone and giving this a chance. It was a life changing experience that was enabled by an amazing team or family at Kinsapacha. The classes and instructors were amazing and they tailored the practices to your body and ability (refer to earlier comment re old and dodgy back!). The food was beyond anything I could have imagined - I didn't even notice that I hadn't eaten meat for a week! I recommend you use Kinsapacha as a perfect base if you don't have the time or fitness to do a full hike - this was an amazing compromise. Every day there was a practice and then many opportunities to explore the region each afternoon! Follow this with a visit to Macchu Picchu and you can achieve an amazing Peruvian adventure! Come solo, bring the family or have a romantic escape - but just come, you won't regret it!

"Beautiful Location but not very warm or inviting"
We loved the beautiful location but note that the surrounding area is very dusty and the 20 minute walk into the town is not very pleasant. Would be nice if a shuttle to town is offered from the retreat . Our morning yoga with instructor Astreya was exceptional. She is such a wonderful teacher. She was also very friendly and informative during our stay.

"6 day yoga retreat- stayed in the dorms"
First of all the location- nestled in the sacred valley, surrounded by mountains- is spectacular. You can’t help but feel relaxed and at peace among the mountains. Ilse and her team are wonderful. They were so welcoming and happy to answer any questions I had. I was given a full itinerary upon arrival, which was also very helpful. The yoga classes were challenging and relaxing, which was the perfect combo. The homemade, 3- course, vegan dinners were delicious. I loved that I was a short walk away from the town so I could go to the market or a restaurant for lunch. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Hot water and comfy beds. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
